(A/N: I'm guessing that you weren't expecting me to ever come back, but here I am! So, hi again! Enjoy!)

Author's POV

The silence in the hospital room pains Camille to hear. She figured that there would be laughter and happy chats. Camille is a girl with a loud mind and silence tears her down. Yet, the silence is necessary. The girl that stands before them all is not recognizable or familiar to any of them except Camille. She clicks the girl and an image together and her eyes widen in disbelief.

"You're Camille, right?" The girl asks as if she seems to be lost. Everyone in the room turns to look at Camille and waits for her response.

"I'm sorry, this room is private—" Gary steps in and walks towards the girl, who he believes is probably some fan intruding their space.

"No, Grandad," Camille stops him and sits up, feeling pain everywhere, "I got it!" Camille angrily shouts as Cheryl and Kimberley try to help her up. They tensely back up and let her do it on her own.

"I know her," Camille mutters and glares at the girl, "She's my sister — well, step-sister." The teen informs her family and they all furrow their brows — Joan and Gary being the only ones who understand.

"I want you out—" Gary immediately raises his voice at James' child and Camille steps in instantly.

"She's not leaving!" The teen becomes bold and defends the girl that has not said but four words, "And if you have a problem with that, then you can go." Camille forcefully stands her ground and makes Gary sit down in his chair once again.

"Have you been with him?" Camille asks and lets her face fall gently.  She does not want Veronica to think that she is annoyed or angry with her.

"Every second." Veronica answers and her expression shows too much despair and stress for a fifteen-year-old to obtain.  Camille can tell that she is at a breaking point — she has been through too many breaking points.

"Is he doing okay?" Camille wonders and hopes that Veronica can answer all her questions.

"Yeah, just not awake yet." Veronica did not go into details, seeing as Camille does need any extra heartbreak.

"He stuck his arm out to protect me," Camille randomly lets her step-sister know and Veronica does not mind one bit.  She wishes to know what happened that night and why Camille was a part of it.

"That's what he does — he protects." Veronica shrugs her shoulders and sees Camille's hand reach out to her. She hesitantly walks over to her and feels the need to hug Camille. Apparently, Camille feels the same and gives her step-sister a loving, long cuddle.

"Does this hurt?" Veronica asks, seeing as she can tell that Camille's condition is very fragile.

"So much, but I don't care." Camille giggles and also gets a cute giggle from Veronica. The two share the moment as if no one else is there with them.

"How did you find out about me?" Camille remembers that Veronica is not meant to know about her and Cheryl. It was supposed to be kept a secret until James built up the courage to tell her.

"I forced it out of Nicole," Veronica responds and they both look at each other before bursting into a fit of giggles, which hurts Camille's stomach.

"Poor Scherzy," The two teens sigh at the same time and laugh all over again. Cheryl and Kimberley watch them in disbelief, Gary and Joan watch in anger, Rosie and Mel B watch in joy, and the Walsh's watch in confusion. Camille pretends as if she does not see their stares and continues to chat to her step-sister.
