Author's POV

"Well, then if she says no, tell me.  I will handle it after that." James says in a stern voice that Camille has never heard him use before. He is talking about Cuba and what Camille should do if Cheryl is to say no to the idea of the teen going.

"Dad—"

"No, there's no reason for her not to let you go with me.  I am your father and if I want you to meet my family, then that is what I will do." He explains and Camille realizes that he is right.  As much as she hates going against her Mam's wishes, the teen could not bare it if she said no.

"Dad—" Camille tries to speak a again, but this time, she is interrupted by James shouting and throwing his arm in front of her chest.

"Hold on-"

Camille gasps into the silence and darkness, feeling her Mum's arm holding her and her Mam's around her waist. She sits up as best as she can and peers over at the clock — 03:47 AM. She lays back on the pillow she is sharing with her Mum and takes a deep breath.

"What're you huffing for?" Kimberley asks with a quiet giggle as she hears her daughter's pouts.

"Nothing,"

"Just tell me," Kimberley whispers and holds her daughter closer, beware of her arm cast.

"I dreamt about it,"

"I'm sorry, sweetheart,"

"I just can't sleep. Everything hurts," Camille whimpers and begins to cry, feeling the pain of her limbs increase.

"Oh, baby, don't cry," Kimberley holds Camille close and kisses her forehead, "It's okay." She tries to calm the teen down, but nothing works.

"Go to your Mamma, sweetheart," Kimberley says and lets her daughter roll over to a snoozing Cheryl. The teen cuddles into her mother, not caring if she wakes the brunette up.

"I'll be right back," Kimberley shuffles out of bed and rushes downstairs.

"Hey," Cheryl wakes up and feels her daughter all over her, "What's wrong, baby?" The mother coos and takes her baby in her arms. The teen snuggles into the warmth and feels content with her mother's kisses planted upon her forehead.

Camille cries more and more, the tears that flow never end. Cheryl does not understand what is happening and turns to get Kimberley, who is not there. Suddenly, the blonde appears at the doorway with a glass of water and something in her cupped hands. The mother walks over to Cheryl's side of the bed and kneels down beside her two girls. Kimberley opens her hand and shows the painkiller pills the doctors gave Camille.

"You gotta sit up, babe," Cheryl says to Camille and helps her sit up. When the teen is ready, she takes the pills and gulps down the water. Cheryl giggles as Camille wipes her mouth and lets out a small burp.

"Sorry," Camille giggles as she covers her mouth and falls into her mother's side.

"Alright, do you think you can go back to sleep?" Kimberley asks as she puts the glass on her bedside table and crawls back into bed. The teen shakes her head and frowns as she sees just how tired her mothers are.
