(A/N: George Ezra gives me so much island vibes, Enjoy that song!)
Author's POV
Camille woke up and looked over as she felt her bed rocking. She saw Adrienne sound asleep next to her, remembering that they went to sleep on the hammock the night before. The teen remembered the glass of wine and gelato she had, which eventually upset her stomach. She couldn't even down a sip of water last night, so she felt quite parched.
"Quelle heure est-il? (What time is it?)" Adrienne groggily asked as Camille sat up, making the hammock rock back and forth.
"I don't know." The teen answered and got off the hammock. She stretched her arms as Adrienne crawled off as well and walked over to her.
"Do you guys make breakfast?" Adrienne asked and Camille nodded. They went into the house and heard someone in the kitchen.
"Hey, Uncle Max." Adrienne smiled and sat on the stool in front of the kitchen island. Camille sat next to her, glad to see Max.
"Good Morning, ladies. Need something to eat?" He asked as he took a sip of his cuppa.
"Pouvez-vous faire un tartine? (Can you make a toast?)" Camille asked, wanting a true French breakfast this morning. Max did just that, immediately whipping up the toast and coffee for the two of them.
"Can you put ice in mine?" Adrienne asked as Max handed her the coffee with cream and sugar. He nodded grabbing some ice for Adrienne and Camille, knowing the teens prefer it that way.
"Kimberley and Cheryl were worried about you last night," Max told Camille as he sat next to her.
"Really? We were just getting some gelato." The teen said and wondered where her parents are. She excused herself from breakfast and went up to their bedroom.
Camille walked down the upstairs hallway, finding her mothers' bedroom. The teen listened in to the room to hear one of them snoring. She knocked on the door and heard Cheryl tell her to come in. Camille opened the door and saw Kimberley sound asleep and Cheryl's eyes on her.
"Hi, baby," Cheryl whispered and held out her hands. The teen made her way over to the bed and gave her mother a hug.
"Lay down, babe," Cheryl said and pulled Camille down to her. The teen laid down against her mother's body and watched her Mam smile.
"I want to talk to you about something." The mother said and looked up at Camille's beautiful eyes "You promise to be honest with us?" She asked and Camille nodded with a pinky promise.
"Is there something going on with you and Rosie?" Cheryl asked, curious to figure out more than Kimberley did. The mothers' secretly want to find out and be all nosy.
"Mum asked me something similar to that. What do you think is going on?" Camille asked and sat up on her elbows, looking down at her mother.
"You two just seem very close," Cheryl said and shrugged her shoulders.
"We're just best friends," Camille answered, "I don't think I am into girls." She said but Cheryl knew that that doesn't mean her and Rosie may not have a 'thing'.
"I thought the same before I met your Mum. Sometimes, you just meet someone that you didn't expect to fall in love with. You find yourself thinking about them and wishing they're everywhere you are. You never realize that you're in love with them." Cheryl said, explaining bits of her relationship with Kimberley in the beginning. Never did Cheryl think she would be in love with a woman but here she is, lying next to her gorgeous girlfriend.
