The sound of the rain when it hits the ground. Every drip and it's continuous pouring--

The repeated prolonged noise coming from the sirens. It was deafening--

The voices coming from the people nearby--

"Patay na yata..." one man said.

"Madulas kasi ang daan." another man said.

"Kawawa naman..." they murmured.

Camilla could hear all of it. For some reason she was awake with her eyes closed. Her subconscious might be the one hearing everything because she still lay lifeless inside a crashed car.

Camilla tried to move but it was just impossible. She did everything but it was to no avail. She thought it was the end of her.

"Hey, hey are you okay?" but she remained unresponsive. Her hearing started to weaken as well the longer she was there.

Excruciating pain enveloped her. It wasn't like anything she can recall, it was the kind of pain that makes you want to scream and just die. She lost count on how many times she blacked out because of that feeling.

"One, two, three...lift."she heard faint murmurs before she felt as if they were moving her.

Finally after many attempts of waking up, she managed to open her lids a little. Enough for her to see what was above her.

But all she could see were lights.

Blinding lights. It was so bright that she had to close her eyes again.

Someone placed something above her face. After few seconds, she felt her own breath.

People surrounded her. People with green masks and green clothes. There were many of them.

Camilla fought the urge to close her eyes but it wasn't long before she was out again.

Voiceless, Camilla cried calling for him but she's slowly drifting away she does not know where to.

Her mind was slowly shutting, she couldn't hear anymore, even the pain she felt earlier is slowly fading, she can't feel anymore...until the lights were all gone.

"Jan." was the last name that crossed her mind before everything became blank. In her mind, she was still screaming for him.

"Jan." her eyes finally closed.

...for a very long time.

It felt like forever before she heard voices again. Voices. Familiar ones.

Her mother's voice, her father's, Keira's and some others who she may recognized but wasn't really sure who they were. Those voices kept on whispering, praying and crying too whenever she heard them.

She heard him too. She heard his voice once and it felt like it happened so long ago.

"I love you..." he said. She missed hearing his voice the most.

Camilla felt so tired of not moving, of being still in one place, of having her eyes closed. She wanted to wake up to talk, to breathe, to drink and eat, to cry but she just slept. She continued to sleep.
