Chapter 53 - The Sunrise

Attraction isn't new to Real. He's had few ex girlfriends before. Most of them shared traits in common. They were tall, beautiful, mestiza with nice bodies. Yung pang mga model at beauty queens.

Real had a certain standard when it comes to women but relationships, it wasn't his priority. Real was more invested in his career. Being a pilot excites him. He loved the rush that came with flying.

Real is aware that there is a growing attraction towards Camilla. He was in a way comfortable about it. She was an actress, a very beautiful woman. Any man will find her attractive,  Real thought.

Until one day, Real often wonder what she's doing and worry if she doesn't show up in her favorite place. Real started missing Camilla out of no reason. His sleepless nights are now because of her.

He is not even a music person but now, he have a Spotify app in his phone. Following only one artist.

Attraction has never made him like what he didn't before. He knew that there was something different this time. This type of attraction is foreign to him. A feeling he have never dealt with before.

Real was gently tapping his fingers over his stomach while staring at the cream colored ceiling above him. He was listening to one of her songs and he was humming along.

He was wearing a headphone. Probably the reason he didn't notice Carlo entering his room.

Sumenyas si Carlo ng lumingon si Real sa gawi niya.

"Kuya..." naupo siya at sumandal sa head board sabay tanggal sa headphone na suot niya. "...dito ka ba matutulog?" umusog siya para makaupo si Carlo.

Umupo si Carlo sa tabi niya.

"Ilipat mo na lang kaya mga gamit mo ulit dito. Lagi ka naman nandito eh, sayang yung binabayad mo sa condo mo." Real laughed.

"Hindi dumaan lang ako dito, si Mama kasi."

"Bakit? Anong problema?"

"Hmm...you know she's always concerned about you." banggit ni Carlo.

Nagpakawala ng malalim ng hininga si Real "Kuya, no need to worry. I'm good as new. So far okay naman ako. It's like I was never sick. No more chest pains, heart burns. Hindi na nga rin ako hinihingal eh. I'm doing just fine." sabi niya sabay tapik sa binti ni Carlo.

"Uh huh." Carlo nods. Nakikita din niyang okay ang naging recovery ni Real pagkatapos ng operasyon. They are very thankful about it.  "Well, hindi lang naman yun--" he continued.

"Why? What else is bothering her?"

Tinignan siya ng kapatid at tila nag dadalawang isip na magpatuloy. Ngunit naisip ni Carlo na mas mabuti kung ngayon pa lang ay maliliwanagan na si Real.

"Real, may tanong ako and I hope hindi mo mamasamain?" he trailed uncomfortably.

"Yeah, sure." Real shrugged.

"You and Lila..." Carlo continued.

"What about me and Camilla?"

"You like her." it wasn't a question. Carlo was stating what he sees in his brother.

"Yeah. I do." Real answered casually.
