Chapter 10 - Checking On the Past

Weeks have passed and things went normally as it used to be. Mabilis naman akong naka-recover dahil na din sa tulong ni Kuya and Vince and syempre sa support na din ni Mommy at ni Daddy na nakaalam din ng nangyari the day after. Na-realize ko tama naman si Josh, at least hindi pa malalim kaya hindi din naman natagalan ang pagkabroken-hearted ko.. Ouch!

Pero bawat isa sa kanila, si Daddy, si Mommy, si Kuya, and si Vince... They are trying to convince me to stop my craziness at pagka-desperada na humanap ng "J" na boyfriend. Kesyo hindi ko daw naman talaga mapipili ang destiny ko, kesyo baka ma-disappoint na naman ako. Kesyo baka masaktan na naman ako...

Masaktan na naman??? Yes! Na naman... Kase alam mo ba na hindi naman first broken heart yung kay Josh??? Oo, hindi yun first time! Hindi ko kase na-mention na nagkaron ako ng first broken heart when I was 14 years old. And he was my first love??? Ahmmm ewan, siguro first crush??? Ah basta, sya ang first... Pero ako nga din ba ang may kasalanan kung bakit ako nasaktan??? O sige na nga rewind, rewind, rewind, para maintindihan mo.

13 years old ako nang ma-meet ko si Jasper. First year high-school, first day of school...

I was so excited when the bell rang. It means lunch time na, yey! I was about to stand up nang lumapit sa kin si Vince na syempre dahil bestfriend kami e magkasama lagi kami ng school na pinapasukan. Choice namin dalawa yun (with my conviction power, lol!) after na mag-meet kami nung 7 years old kami, that we will always go in the same school.

"Tara na sa canteen, hurry up, may padalang sandwich si Mommy para sa'yo." Yaya ni Vince.

"Really? Yey! Is that my favorite chicken sandwich? Naku super love ako talaga ni Tita Mabel. Tell her thanks and super love ko din sya! Pero may padala din si Mommy na sushi para sayo! She knows it's your favorite so she left some for you from yesterday." I excitedly replied.

"Wow! Lalo tuloy ako nagutom.. kaya tayo na, bilis na kase kanina pa talaga ako nag-i-starve!" Sabay higit sa kamay ko.

"Ooops! wait lang kse! May kasama po ako... Nakikita mo ba sila sa likod ko" Sabay turo ko sa dalawang girls sa likod ko.

"Oops! Sorry di ko agad napansin. Sa sobrang gutom ko kase.. Hi!" Nahihiyang sabi ni Vince.

"By the way, Alex, Nina, this is my "makulit" na bestfriend, Vince. Vince these are our new classmates na na-meet ko sa Freshmen Orientation kanina, Alexandra and Janina... Alex and Nina for short. By the way, bestfriends din sila, di ba girls?"

"Definitely... Nice meeting you, Vince!" Nina said as she waved her hand.

"Hi!" Alex said shyly"

"Hello Alex, hello Nina! I'm happy to meet you both." Vince greeted as they are shaking their hands.

"O pa'no, sabay na lang kayo sa min sa lunch?" Vince asked.

"Yun na nga po ang plan ko, pasasabayin ko na sila sa tin." I answered.

"Good! So let's go?" Vince exclaimed.

"Let's go!" Nina said.

And tumango na lang kami ni Alex.

"Okay mauna na kayong bumaba and I'll just go to my locker to get my lunch kit. Iniwan ko muna kanina e." Sabi ni Vince habang papunta sa may pinto.

"Okay sige, wait ka namin sa may stairs." Sabi ko

"Okay sige." He replied.

So we went out of the classroom and walked through the hallway with some of the students that were coming out of their classes. We went down the stairs and we just decided to sit on the last 3 steps of the stairs while waiting for Vince.
