Author's Note:

You may have noticed, that the few last chapters were small. Especially 13 and 14. Nothing much happened. They were just necessary for the fellowship to reach the Elven realm. The storyline grows again in Chapter 15 and on! ^_^

I don't own any of the characters, places, names, etc (only the OC). It all belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien and Peter Jackson.

... and she grew to be tall beyond the measure even of the women of the Noldor; she was strong of body, mind, and will ... Even among the Eldar, she was accounted beautiful, and her hair was held a marvel unmatched. It was golden like the hair of her father and of her fore-mother Indis, but richer and more radiant, for its gold was touched by some memory of the star-like silver of her mother; and the Eldar said that the light of the Two Trees, Laurelin and Telperion, had been snared in her tresses. "The History of Galadriel and Celeborn" in Unfinished Tales

A moonlit blue shone as the group of nine climbed the twisting stair about the trunk of a tree, past glimmering lights of silver and blue. Everyone was amazed at the colors, as now their eyes were no longer blinded. Far above, the silhouetted shapes of the shadowy tree-branches loom. Passing many levels, and each would reveal its magic. Even Ethir paused from her confusing stage and took a look. As for Legolas, he is in a deep sleep. As he reached a place very heavenly.

"The Lady Galadriel, we call her 'Lady of Light', grandmother of Lady Arwen, is an Elven Queen of extraordinary beauty, with her timeless features and golden river of hair." he described her gazing up at Ethir. She glanced at him, though she didn't respond. The elf tilted his head. He was sure, something seemed wrong. The 'wicked' human was still blocked.

Finally, they reached the ground floor. They gathered before the arch as Haldir stepped to one side. A glowing couple, hand in hand, descend to meet the Fellowship. The Fellowship stared in awe. Aragorn touched his head in greeting. Ethir lowered her gaze. She remembered the side effects she would cause around Elves. She didn't want to get noticed.

Celeborn spoke "The Enemy knows you have entered here. What hope you had in secrecy is now gone. Nine there are here, then there were, set out from Rivendell. Tell me, where is Gandalf? For I much desire to speak with him. I can no longer see him from afar."

"Gandalf the Grey did not pass the borders of this land. He has fallen into shadow." Galadriel said as she was gazing at Aragorn like she was able to read him.

Aragorn nodded slightly.

Legolas explained with sadness in his voice "He was taken by both Shadow and Flame: a Balrog of Morgoth. For we went needlessly into the net of Moria."

Gimli bowed his head, sadly.

"Needless were none of the deeds of Gandalf in life. We do not yet know his whole purpose." the lady of the light voiced.

After a small pause, Galadriel faced Gimli "Do not let the great emptiness of Khazad-dûm fill your heart, Gimli, son of Glóin."

The Dwarf looked up as her words reached him. "For the world has grown full of peril. And in all lands, love is now mingled with grief," she added.

"What now becomes of this Fellowship? Without Gandalf, hope is lost." said the Lord of the Golden Wood.

"The quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail to the ruin of all. Yet, hope remains while the company is true." she responded.

Again, there was a light silence. As if the Lady of the Woods was talking to them. Suddenly, she paused in front of Ethir. She was still looking at the ground. She could feel the brightness. Stronger than Legolas. She was scared, that Galadriel would blind her. 'You are holding deep darkness inside you. Ethir, the last blood of Sauron. Though, still there may be hope for the Unforgiven.'

Ethir remained staring at the ground. She was sure she didn't imagine it. Lady of the Lórien seemed that have the ability to speak into the minds.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Go now and rest for you are weary with sorrow and much toil. Tonight you will sleep in peace." she ensured the fellowship.

The nine stepped back after greeting the fair lady. Indeed they were through a lot. They needed to clean and rest. Tents, clothes, and food were offered to them. They were also told, where they could find warm streams to bathe.
