Insecurities
Ross: You had always been insecure about how you looked without makeup on. You thought you completely hideous without it, but Ross loved it. He thought you looked adorable. But that didn't matter at the moment. You looked at your face in the mirror. It looked so dull. 'Why does it have to be me?' you thought, as a few tears slipped down your face. You jumoed, startled when you saw Ross watching from behind you, his face deep in a frown. "It kills me to see you like this. I don't like it that you pick out every one of your flaws in the mirror. I think you're perfect." he whispered, wrapping his arms around your waist. For the rest of the day, whenever he got the chance, he would whisper sweet nothings in your ear.
Riker: You never felt like you were good enough in bed. Riker reassured you that you were more than good but you didn't believe him. Tonight, things were getting pretty heated between you two, then boom, your insecurities flooded into your thoughts. You pulled away from Riker putting your clothes back on, getting up. Tears threatened to spill from your eyes. "Baby..." "I'm not good enough, Rik." "That's crap." "It's true." "I'll show you how much I love you." Riker whispered into your ear before pulling you back for more, this time you let him go and take control.
Rocky: You had always been paranoid about your body. Everytime Rocky complimented you, you would just turn it away. "This your freaking problem, (Y/N)! You can't take one compliment without being crappy! I'm sick of it!" He yelled at you. You were in an arguement that had quickly escalated. You had never seen him this mad though, and it was all because of you. "Fine. You want to know why I can't take compliments Rocky?! It's because you're the only one who's ever given me them, but you lie! I'm not pretty or funny or skinny! I'm not perfect and I'm freaking sorry about that!" You screamed at Rocky as you felt salty tears drip onto your face and down your cheeks. You wiped them away angrily with the palms of your hands. It looked like he had just seen a ghost. "We need some time apart," you sighed and got up, packing your bags, walking out, ignoring Rocky's pleads to stay.
Ellington: You had a very dark past, with no parents and abusive carers. Ratliff knew that and always comforted you about it, but there were some things he just couldn't change your mind about. You were sitting at the park with him while you stared off into the cold morning air, tangled in your thoughts. "You know, I think you're beautiful." Ell said, looking at you, pushing his swing a little. "And why are you bringing this up?" you asked. "I see your cuts. They're fresh. You don't need to do that, I'm here for you. Just talk to me before you do it." He pleaded. "And you think you might be able to stop me from doing it? Really Ell?" "Yes, and I know it's hard, but please, let me help you through it." "Ell, you know I can't stop, you know I can't be happy. You know I can't love myself." Ell walked over to you and lifted your chin. "I love you, and I want you to know that."
Ryland: You had always been really insecure about your weight. Ryland knew this, and always reassured you that you were perfect, but you thought otherwise. Besides that, today you had classes at your uni. You felt really bad because Ryland had the day off, and you couldn't spend it with him. You really didn't want to go though, because of the girls in your class. "Hey (Y/N)," they sneered. You avert your eyes from theirs, looking down at your feet. "Looks like you gained some weight over the weekend. I can't believe Ryland is even dating you, you're so fat. Just look at yourself." One of the girls says, walking off, laughing with her friends. You feel the tears streaming down your cheeks in thick streams, and you know that they won't stop anytime soon. Suddenly you feel arms around your waist. "Babe, why are you crying?" Ryland's voice whispers in your ear. You turn around and sob into his chest. "T-the girls c-called me f-fat." you manage to say through the lump in your throat. "Please don't listen to them, you're perfect." He coos, rubbing your back softly, kissing your hair. "Where are they?" "Ry, don't go talk to them, it'll just make it worse." "Where are they?" he demands again, pulling away from the embrace you two had, lokking around the uni hall. You sigh. "Over there." You point, to where the girls were standing by a rack of brochures. Ryland growls something under his breath, then strides quickly toward them. "Hi Ryland," one of them says, smiling, batting her eyelashes. "Shut up," Ry snaps at her. "I know what you said to (Y/N), and look what you've done! You've made her sob her eyes out millions of times! Are you satisfied?!" he yells at her, getting in her face. Her eyes widen as you try to pull him away. "Ry, c'mon, just forget about it." "No (Y/N), not until I'm done with her. She's chosen the wrong people to mess with."
