Ross Imagine For Caryn

A/N: Hi! This imagine is for @crossynrl ! Hope you like! ~Ashley xx

---

I stand in the kitchen, absentmindedly rubbing my swelling stomach. I'm about nine months preganant, and I'm supposed to be having the baby any day now.

I start to wipe the kitchen island counter clean when I feel wetness between my legs. My eyes widen.

"ROSS!" I holler just as I hear footsteps storming down the stairs.

"Baby, you alright?" Ross puts a supportive arm around me, eyes full of worry and concern. "Is the baby coming?"

I nod, unable to speak as a small contraction comes, then goes as fast as it came.

"We gotta get you to the hospital!" He exclaims, grabbing my bag from the front entrance, leading me to the car.

-- at the hospital --

"We just have to go through some routine tests, then we'll carry on from there, okay?" The nurse says as she goes through some routine tests.

"You'll be okay, babe. It'll be okay." Ross tells me softly, taking my hand in his.

"I hope so." I whisper.

"Alright, you're ready to push now," the nurse tells me, sitting at the end of my hospital bed.

-- an hour later --

"AHH!" I scream as I push, squeezing Ross' hand once again, as if it'll seize the pain.

"One more time!" The nurse encourages me.

I feel hot tears stream down my cheeks, but ignore them, pushing again as hard as I can. I finally hear mine and Ross' baby's cries fill the room as I lay back in the hospital bed.

"You did great, babe! I'm so proud of you." Ross tells me softly, tucking a sweaty piece of hair behind my ear, kissing my sweaty forehead softly just as the nurse comes back in carrying our baby.

"It's a girl," she announces, placing her in my arms. "What're you naming her?"

"Jewel Shor Lynch," I smile, looking up at Ross, who was just staring at the baby girl.

The nurse smiles at us, walking out of the room, giving us some alone time.

"She's beautiful," Ross says barely above a whisper as I feel something wet fall onto the top of my head.

I realize it was Ross' tear.

"Ross, babe, why are you crying?" I look up at him again, tearing my eyes from Jewel.

"It's just," he pauses, wiping his tears away, looking at me. "It's just I've neverr been this happy before, and I never thought I'd get a life so perfect, and it's all because of you two."

I smile lightly at him, leaning up and kissing him softly.

"I could say the same thing."

A/N: Hello!

Hope you like it, Caryn! I thought this was really cute, so I wrote it for you!

Ross would be really good dad, like he'd be the best dad. I just think he'd be the cutest ifhe ever had a daughter. She'd be a total daddy's girl. If he had a son, he would totally teach him how to play hockey. He would teach both of them, probably, how to play guitar and piano and OMG the feels! Can he just father my children already?!

Your writer,

~Ashley xoxo
