Rocky and I walk into the Lynch's house.

"Hey!" Ross greets us.

"Hey bro!" Rocky fist-bumps him, walking in.

We both walk to the living room, sitting around. I watch the boys play some video game I forgot the name of as soon as Rocky told me.

"What are you doing there, Ell?" I ask, my eyes never leaving Ellington's side of the screen.

"Oh, I'm just shooting Ross," Ell laughs. "You want me to teach ya?"

"Yeah!" I smile, as hands me his controller, then puts one arm around my back to overlap one of my hands on the controller, the other reaching over my lap.

He presses my fingers down for me. "Now, you just move the joystick like this," he guides my thumb.

"This is pretty fun!" I comment, making Ell chuckle. "Yeah," he pauses. "Okay, you got the hang of it?"

"I think so," I say as his hands leave mine and he sits beside me, watching.

I play for a little while, beating all the boys, until I notice something's off. Rocky wasn't in the room anymore.

"Here Ell," I hand the controller back to him. "I gotta go see where Rocky is. I'll be back." Ell nods, as I walk out of the room to see Rocky sitting on the staircase.

"Hey," I say. He doesn't answer, but I can tell he heard me. I sit beside him. "What's up?"

"What's up, Vanessa?! You're really asking that when it was totally obvious what you were doing with Ell in there?!" Rocky finally looks up at me from the floor.

Oh. Is that what this is about?

"Rocky," I sigh. "That meant nothing. I promise. He was just teaching me how to play." I wrap my arms around him from the side, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"But I could've taught you," he says quietly. "Why don't you do that when we get home, okay?"

"Okay," he kisses my hair. "It's cute when you're jealous." I giggle, making him chuckle.

"Sure," he grins. "Let's head back in."
