104. I Solemnly Swear (Season 3, episode 11)
It's a real shame that the plot with Emily getting sued comes in the midst of such a lack-luster episode, because that plot is hilarious, and honestly a long time coming. Lorelai is called to speak in front of a lawyer on her mother's behalf and rambles about Ben Hur and squash, which is delightful. But in the mean time, Paris and Rory fight when Francie gets in the middle of their relationship, as far as I can tell only because she likes stirring up trouble. Also, Sookie freaks out because she may have "flirted accidentally" with an old buddy from culinary school. All in all, it's a pretty forgettable episode without the Emily plot.
High points: Emily being sued, Lorelai's reaction to Emily being sued
Lowpoints: Anything involving Francie is pretty much a miss for me.
