137. Gilmore Girls Only (Season 7, episode 17)
Hey,remember Mia? Yeah, me neither. She's the Independence Inn's (former)owner and was in exactly one episode like five years ago. Well, now she's back, recast, and getting married. Oh, you don't care? Yeah. Me neither. We get that Mia was an important part of Lorelai and Rory's lives for a long time, but she wasn't a very big part of ours. We couldn't really care less about her wedding and I'm not really sure why there's an entire episode centered around it. And Emily tags along too, which makes things awkward for everyone, especially since she doesn't actually know Mia. But then again, neither do we, and yet here we are. It's just sort of an episode we could do without.
High points: Oh, I don't know, there's nothing inherently wrong with it...
Low points: It's just unnecessary and forgettable. It just seems like,this late in the show, there were probably more important things they could be focusing on, characters that actually needed tying up. It almost seems like they were starting to run out of ideas.
