36. Presenting Lorelai Gilmore (Season 2, Episode 6)
This is the first episode to really show us how Rory fits into Emily and Richard's world. It's also amazing to look back and realize that Emily and Richard's separation was being set up, even this far back. This is the first time we really see how unhappy Richard is at work, and it's the first time Emily gets upset at him for it. A big event like this is sure to bring plenty of drama, and this episode certainly delivers.
High points: Everything about the actual dance is extremely entertaining and makes me wonder why anyone would voluntarily participate in it!
Low points: Emily is not very understanding or sympathetic to her husband. Christopher is flaky and immature. Again.
