24. The Lorelai's FirstDay at Yale (Season 4, Episode 2)
Alandmark as big as this one is bound to produce a great episode, andthis one delivers. Managing to keep Rory and Lorelai's separationlight, this episode produces such classic scenes as the mattressdebate, the "Lorelai-ing" of local restaurants, and thewolf howl. It's nothing earth shattering, but it's certainly fun anda good kick-off to Rory's college years.
High points: Lukeis so nice in this episode! The mattress, the truck. Tonna is veryawkward and fun. We finally get to see Rory at college!
Low points: Ifanyone needs a life coach, it's probably Paris. But Terrence isannoying. And it should be noted that this is yet another one ofRory's major life events where it's Luke that's there and notChristopher. Luke's interaction with the lawyer is hilarious and weall want to see Nicole go, but it's still sad watching Luke have togo through a divorce.
