Jeonghan went home later that day. He called Jisoo and cried his eyes out since his mom had yet again forgotten his birthday. Jisoo wouldn't let Jeonghan's day end there. He wanted Jeonghan's birthday to be special. He called him out for a walk in the park nearby.
"So... She forgot your birthday?" Jisoo asked.
Jeonghan nodded. He really needed some consolation right now.
"Why do you care? Mom's are meant to be like that. Who knows is she's planning a surprise gift for you?" Jisoo encouragingly said.
Jeonghan shook his head. "She'd never do that."
"Okay! How about we have fun ourselves? Let's go on a date."
Jeonghan gasped.
"A best friend date."
Jeonghan sighed. "Where?"
"Anywhere you'd like. You're the birthday boy here."
"I'm not that much of an outgoing person."
"Let's go to the arcade."
"Isn't it for the cool people?"
"Do we not come in the category of cool?" Jisoo smiled.
