--Julliet Morrison--

Geovanni and I were sitting across from each other, having the most intense staring contest of the century.

Thalia decided to take my friends home and allow us to talk.

It has been about an hour and not a single word had been uttered.

Geo seemed tired. His eyes had bags and dark circles under them.

I had the urge to pee again, so I got up and made my way to the restroom to relieve my bladder.

After using it, I made my way back to the same place I was in. Sitting and staring was beginning to get on my last nerve and not to mention, that irritating sensitivity of my nipples had returned.

Fighting the urge to rub on my breasts, I shifted a little.

"Are you going to at least try to say something to me?" I inquired.

"I ain't got shit to say to you." Geo spewed.

"I'm having a baby, Geo." I attempted to end the pettiness between us. "Our baby."

"I'm aware." He replied coldly.

"Aren't you at least happy?"

Scoffing, he shook his head at me. "Nah, are you happy?"

"I don't know." I replied truthfully.

"You're sure that you want this baby?" He asked further.

"I know that I don't want to lose it." I admitted.

"You genuinely don't want to lose it or you don't want to lose it because you think it's going to solve the issues between us?"

"I didn't even consider getting an abortion after I thought you had moved on with Thalia and having a baby with her. You know, after you shut me down." I argued. "If I thought this baby was going to solve something I would have told you about that appointment last week before I left your condo."

"You knew you were pregnant then?"  He inquired.

"Yes, I knew." I bit my lips. "I found out a month ago. I was so scared, but I fell in love with it."

"You told your pops yet?" He questioned.

"No Geo, I haven't." I admitted.

"You're sure you wanna keep it?"

"Yes Geovanni, I want to keep it." I nodded.

"Cool." He vaguely replied.

"So, are you happy?" I chewed at my lip.

"I'm excited if that's what you're asking." I indicated my understanding by nodding. "But I don't think we should get back together." He stated.

"That's ok." I assured him. "As long as you're happy about the baby." I said.

"What about school?" He asked.

"I'll just do online classes where I could." I shrugged.

"Do you need a ride home?" He asked.

"The car Skylar drove here is mine. I'd be fine." I said as I stood to my feet, gathered my bags and left.

On my way home, I thought of what co-parenting with Geo will be like.

Even though there was no other woman, it was obvious that he wasn't in a hurry to fix our relationship and I was fine with that. Just as long as he's going to be there for this baby.
