--Geovanni Parris--

"Julliet?" I questioned.

"Geo?" She replied in the same tone, making me chuckle.

"What are we doing?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" She questioned.

"You know what I mean, Julliet." I sighed, causing her to do the same.

"Can we just enjoy right now?" She asked.

"That's what I'm doing." I replied. "But I'd like to know, Jules."

"We're still married, right?" She asked rhetorically.

"Julliet..." I trailed.

"Geo, I'm not ready to do this right now." She sighed.

"That's fine, Jules." I nodded, though I was disappointed.

"Hey Mom." Krys announced as he walked through the door. "Uh-oh." He said when he saw me.

"I thought you were staying at your mother's last night?" I asked him.

"He did." Julliet butted in, trying to defend him.

"Why are you lying to me?" I turned to Julliet.

"Just leave him alone, Geo." She sighed.

"He's fucking, Julliet, and he's only fourteen." I stressed.

"I get that." She said. "But calmly talk to him first." She begged.

"Where the hell were you?" I questioned Krys.

"At a friend's." He replied.

"Lie again, Krys." I threatened.

"Geo, let him be." Julliet pleaded.

"I was at my girlfriend's." Krys quickly butted in. "Just please don't argue with each other over me." He begged Julliet and I.

"What you know 'bout a girlfriend?" I asked, causing him to shrug. "You got money to take care of a kid if you impregnate your girlfriend?" I asked.

"Geo, stop." Julliet continued with her attempts to defend Krys.

"No Julliet, you need to stop encouraging the bullshit that he and Guilia are doing." I stressed.

"Dad please, don't do this with Mom." Krys begged.

"You're grounded by the way." I informed him. "Hand over your phone right now and your laptop and iPad when you get home." I told him.

"Geo, is that really necessary?" Julliet asked.

"It's fine, Mom." Krys said as he placed his phone in my outstretched palm.

"Where does your sister go off to anyway, because I know she's not always over here like she claims." I asked Krystopher.

"I don't know, Dad." He shrugged.

"Where'd you pick up Guilia from three days ago, Julliet?" I turned to her instead.

"That's between me and Guilia." She huffed. "Don't worry about it."

"You need to stop encouraging their bullshit, Jules and that's the last time I'm asking you." I said sternly.

"Ok Geovanni." She huffed.

Krystopher stood there looking between Julliet and I.

"I'm sorry, guys." He apologized.

"It's fine, baby." Julliet said, making me sigh.
