--Geovanni Parris--

"I keep telling you about talking slick to everyone." I said to Julliet as I dabbed peroxide on her tiny cuts. "What really happened?" I asked.

"Skylar and I got into it." She pouted.

"You just got your ass whooped and you still decide to have that attitude?"

"Leave me alone." She whined.

"You can't be out here fighting while being pregnant, Jules." I warned.

"If I knew where you went at night, I wouldn't have to fight to defend you."

"What are you talking about?" I narrowed my eyes at her.

She sighed dramatically and deepened her pout.

"The girls came over and I sorta told them about you being gone late at night."

"Why'd you do that?" I furrowed my brows at her. "You still don't trust me?"

"I'm trying Geo, but it's hard." She whined.

"How you wanna be in a relationship with me and can't trust me?" I asked. "I'd like you to explain." I signalled for her to speak with my hand.

"I trust you, Geovanni." She defended.

"So why'd you run and tell your dumb ass friends about me being out late?" I snarled. "And what Skylar had to do with it anyway?" He scoffed.

"She said you're probably cheating." She murmured.

"Listen, if you can't trust me, we can't be." I dictated.

"I trust you, Geo." She whimpered. "I trust you. I told her that you weren't cheating. I swear." Julliet grabbed on to one of my arms as she pleaded with me. "I swear."

"I wouldn't hurt you like that, Julliet, even after the fucked up shit that you did to me." I continued as I shook my head at her.

"Shit I did to you?" She scoffed.

"You cheated on me, didn't you?"

"For the last time, nothing happened, Geo! Besides that, you said you forgave me." She retorted.

"Yeah, but I didn't say that I forgot." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Geo—" she started whining again.

"Stop Julliet." I dictated. "I don't want to hear it."

"Fine." She mumbled as she pushed past me and headed for our bedroom.

I sighed and followed her into it.

"Jules, I'm sorry." I apologized to her.

"It's fine." She whispered. "Daddy told me that you're mean just like him anyway." I held her chin between my thumb and index finger, bringing her face toward my own as I kissed her passionately.

"I love you, Jules." I mumbled against her lips, before taking them into another lip-locking session.

Lifting her up, I allowed her legs to wrap securely around me as our kiss continued to deepen.

It's been a while since we have been intimate and I was in desperate need of feeling myself buried inside of her extremely narrow passageway.

"I love you too, Geovanni." She moaned into our kiss.

Stopping myself as my hands were about to slither up her thighs, I placed her back on to her feet.

"Julliet," I begun, seeing a look of disappointment flash across her face. "I don't think that we should have sex after every disagreement." I explained as we both moved to sit at the bottom of the bed.

"I understand." She nodded.

"Great." I kissed her cheek. "And I am not cheating on you." I repeated.

"I believe you, Geo." She laughed.

"I have to remind you." I shrugged.

--Lillet Morrison--

"Jan?" I called as I sat up in the bed, gripping the sheets around me. After receiving no response, I got out of the bed with the sheet still wrapped around me as I continued to call for him. "Babe?"

"He's not here." My head snapped in the direction of my mother's voice.

"Mom, you startled me." I huffed.

"He took you back I see." She pointed out.

"Don't make me feel bad about it." I begged.

"He swore up and down that he would've never forgiven you, Lilly." She looked directly into my eyes. "Knowing Jan, if I were you I'd watch my back at all times."

"Do you really think that Jan will have me murdered?" I scoffed.

"You broke his heart and abandoned him and your child," she retorted. "Do you really think that he's forgiven you just because you came back?" She asked. "Don't be naive Lillet, Jan is up to something."

"Maybe he's just happy that I came to my senses." I defended.

"Maybe." She shrugged.

"He loves me, mother."

"I'm sure he does." She genuinely replied.

"You're wrong about him trying to have me killed." I repeated.

"It's sad really." She began. "The fact that you've hurt him so badly and he still opens his arms, welcoming you back." She shook her head at me. "Just as Julliet has done to Geovanni."

-- Julliet Morrison--

"So, I've decided to go along with Amber's crazy idea and stalk Geovanni." I announced to both Amber and Skylar.

"Finally." Amber rolled her eyes.

"We thought you were going to always foolishly take his word for it." Skylar added.

"When I told him that I believed him and I don't know," I shrugged, "he just seemed too relieved. Almost like that's what he wanted."

"Finally, you came to your senses." Amber reiterated.

"I heard you the first time, Amber." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Good." She sassed.

Almost as if out of nowhere a phone began ringing, causing each of us to check our devices.

"Not mine." Skylar reported.

"Neither is it mine." Amber announced.

"And it is not mine." I interjected as I looked down at my phone screen which displayed no activity.

After confirming that it was neither of our phones that rang, the chirping of a familiar bird sounded, indicating that the phone which was once ringing, was now receiving messages.

Looking around from my seat at the dining room's table, since the noise was coming from within the room, I soon spotted Geovanni's phone on the island.  Slowly walking over toward it, I grabbed it, then, I sat back down at the dining room table and opened the unsecured phone with a simple swipe.

"It's open?" Skylar asked, with a nod of confirmation from me, her and Amber hurried to stand around me, staring at the phone's screen from over my shoulders.

I then opened the messages app and proceeded to read Geovanni's most recent messages.

"Well ain't that a bitch." Skylar was the first to speak.
