--Geovanni Parris--

"Your baby?" I turned around and came face to face with a very attractive lady.

"Uh yeah. This is my lah' baybeh." I smiled down at Guilia, kissing her chubby little cheeks.

"She's cute." She gushed.

"Thanks." I smirked. "She gets most of it from her momma." I purposely dished out and observed as the sparkle in her eyes faded a little.

"Oh." She attempted to cover up her disappointment with a soft smile. "Then her mom must be really beautiful." I smirked.

"That she is." I confirmed. "Maybe, I'll see you around—"

"Krystal." She informed me.

"Geovanni." I nodded in her direction before I ventured off to find the diapers I came to look for.

--Julliet Morrison--

"I told you that my key is for emergencies only, Jules." Geo scolded as he came through the door, carrying a sleeping Guilia and a few grocery bags in his hands.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes before I went over and took a few bags from him. "Where do you want these?" I asked.

"Just put 'em on one of the counters." I did as told as he went to put Guilia down to continue her nap.

Making myself cozy in one of his couches, I put my feet up and laid my head on the arm.

"Are you ok?" Geo interrupted.

"I'm fine." I mumbled.

"You're sure?" He pressed further.

"Yeah." I nodded, now fully aware of him towering over me. I was in no way fine. I was sick to my stomach about being stuck with Alexis as my peer student.

"Talk to me." Geo simply requested as he tapped my legs as an indication for me to lift them. Lifting my feet, I felt the couch dip, which made me realise that Geo had sat down. He grabbed my feet and placed them in his lap, gently rubbing them.

The sensation made my eyes water. I had been so fucking dumb. Geo was everything other women dreamed of and I completely fucked that up for myself. Had I just trusted him like he asked, I would've been so happy right now.

"Why are you crying, love?" I hadn't even noticed the tears that were now gliding down my cheeks. "What's going on?"

"Nothing." I croaked out.

Geo grabbed my hands and pulled me up into a sitting position, with my legs still draped across his lap.

"That nigga hurt you?" He asked, his eyes running marathons across my facial feautures.

I shook my head. "No."

"Then why are you crying, Julliet?" Geo questioned.

"Hold me?" I pleaded.

Wasting no time, Geo pulled me into his lap, causing me to straddle him as his arms wrapped securely around me.

Buring my face into the crook of his neck, I began sobbing. My sharp, deep breaths caused his very familiar and equally comforting scent to fill my nostrils. One of his arms began rubbing up and down my back in a comforting manner.

"I hate it when you cry." He whispered. "Stop crying, love." He kissed my temple.

"Why'd you care about me so much?" I questioned.

"You're the mother of my child, I'm supposed to care." He sighed. "No matter what you've done, are doing or going to do, I'd forever have love for you, Julliet."
