"Hey." I greeted Thalia as I walked into the kitchen.
"Hey." She looked over her shoulder at me as she grabbed her finished fruit platter from the counter and made her way to the dinner table, sitting it down at the spot she always ate breakfast while she read.
"Could we talk?" I asked, causing her to stand behind her chair as she gave me her attention.
"Sure." She nodded. I moved closer to her as I swept her a few locks of her hair out of her face, pushing them behind her ear some fell back into their place naturally, but some stayed.
I held her gaze for a bit, before clearing my throat.
"Ali, Jules and I were talking and we agreed to have you live downstairs with Brianna." I sighed. It was really our basement, but it was spacious. So spacious that we turned it into a two bedroom apartment. "That way you'd be safe and the kids won't have to be weirded out about your relationship with Jules, because there will be a bit of distance."
"I understand." She nodded. "I was actually looking for a new place and putting my old one up for sale." She assured me.
"We don't want you to move out, Ali." I furrowed my brows at her.
"Geo, you and Julliet have each other and I think it's best if I find someone of my own when I'm ready to take that step, but Lia had a point, three way relationships aren't a norm..."
Grabbing her hand in mine, I searched her eyes.
"Tell me that you don't feel something real for Julliet and I'll let you do what you feel the need to."
She only stared at me, confirming what we all knew.
As weird as this was, they both wanted it.
I rubbed her cheek with my thumb as I studied her face.
"I'm sorry I let him hurt you, Ali." I apologized. "I'm so sorry." I mumbled as I kissd her forehead.
I ran my thumb across the bandage on the back of her thigh and the other one on her lower back.
"Geo..." She mumbled.
"Ali..." I answered.
"It wasn't your fault, Geo." She assured me.
"Yeah, but I promised you." I sighed. "What if I didn't show up in time?" I questioned.
"But you did." She reminded me.
"Yeah. But what if I didn't?" I asked. "I was so busy being mad at you for doing what you thought was best that I almost cost you your life." I sighed. "Jules would've never forgiven me."
"You're not the one who hurt me, Geo. Elliott did, so stop beating yourself up." She encouraged. "You've been a good friend to me and I know that it must be hard because you were friends with Elliott first, but thank you for choosing to do the right thing." She offered me a small smile.
"Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to go see Jules.""Sure, I could make that happen." I assured her, grabbing her hand and leading her out the door and to the car.

"Guess who's here to see you?" Geo announced as he walked into my hospital room with Thalia behind him.
"Ali!" I exclaimed as I held my arms open.
She walked over to the bed and leaned into my hug.
"I missed you so much." She immediately began sniffling, causing me to tear up as well.
"I missed you too." I replied as we released each other.
"I don't have anyone to watch Lifetime movies with." She whined.
"I'm being released in three days, so you have me again!" I exclaimed. "Aaaannnddd, I'm officially cancer free, guys!" I practically shrieked.
They both only laughed at my expression.
"We already know that, Jules. Geo paid for the surgery." Thalia grinned. "But when you get home, were going to have a spa date to celebrate!" She exclaimed.
"And we're all going to France." Geo added, causing the both of us to look at him in awe.
"Really?!" Thalia and I both questioned in disbelief.
"Really." He nodded in confirmation.

I sat at home after cutting off all of my sexual partners with the exception of one.
His name is Nathaniel Adams, but he prefers Nathan for short.
Nathan had actually been the only one who wanted to date me, so I decided to give it a shot. If it doesn't work out, there'll be lots of other opportunities in the future.
Thanks to Auntie Thalia, I've decided to start doing better a week ago.
Of course I'm on punishment. With Mom's help, Dad gave me a schedule of house chores, which I complete on a.daily basis in order to receive my allowance.
I also have a ten o'clock bed time.
I haven't gotten my keys back and I haven't bought or smoked weed since.
Auntie Thalia bought me a journal which keeps me busy apart from my chores and school and she and I decided to attend counselling together.
We've had one session already and it was easier for me to open up after she did it in the session, assuring me that it wasn't that hard.
Knowing that we've both been through similar situations really helped me to open up to her and our counsellor.
I'm more accepting of what her and my parents, more specifically, my Mom, have going on now, because I realize that she's not up to anything like I thought and I understand why Mom and Dad adore her like they do.
Yes, their relationship may be a bit odd and even frowned on by many people and even illegal in some instances, but where we live in California, there aren't laws governing adultery, so it's not illegal here, maybe not as yet at least.
Whatever their relationship may be, I don't mind it anymore because she's genuinely good to all of us.
