I looked at my wife as she peacefully slept, but I kept getting pissed off at the black eye which now adorned her features.
I reached out and cupped her chin my hand, tracing the outline of her lips with my thumb.
Thalia and her daughter were also staying with us, but they were in the guest room. Julliet insisted that they stayed with us, because of the way Elliott seemed to have been acting lately.
I glanced at the digital clock on our bedside table, which now read "12:33 AM". I pecked Julliet's lips and slid out of the bed.
I quietly slipped on a hoodie and sweats to match and left our room and the house all together.
I got into my car, started it and lit a pre-rolled blunt, taking a few puffs before backing out of me and Julliet's driveway.
Elliott was gon' learn why he should never put his fucking hands on my wife again.

I watched silently as Geo cautiously climbed back into the bed beside me.
"Where were you?" I asked, causing his head to snap in my direction.
"Handling business." He briefly replied.
"What kind of business needs handling this late at night? It couldn't wait until the morning?" I questioned. "It's quarter past three in the morning, Geo." I added.
"I'm aware of the time, Julliet." He shrugged.
"Well, where were you?" I repeated.
"Look, I wasn't just about to let Elliott put his hands on you without consequences, Julliet." He gritted, making me huff.
"I told you to let it go, Geo." I argued.
"Let it go?" He fussed. "Look at your face, Jules!" He gritted as his eyes darted across my facial features.
"I know it's bag, Geo, but did you really have to go avenge it?" I huffed again. "Did you kill him?" I asked.
"Nah." He shook his head. "The most I did was break his nose." He shrugged, causing me to release another huff.
"Geo, I said it was fine." I fussed.
"Look at your face, Julliet." He gestured toward my face again. "You expect me to just let that shit go?"
"Yes." I whispered, causing him to scoff as he shook his head at me.
"I think that nigguh hit you too hard. You're starting to sound like you lost a bit of your good senses." He grumbled, causing me to pinch his arm for being so rude. "Don't put your hands on me." He mushed my head, making me giggle a bit. "You should've put your hands on Elliott, but it seems like you were too scared." He teased.
"I'm never scared, Geo." I smirked. "Besides, I have you to pull up on nigguh and give them the business for me." I said with a coy smile glued to my face as I batted my eyelashes at him.
He threw his head back as he laughed out loudly.
"Don't forget that your face is a little fucked up, Jules. That cute shit isn't working out too well for you right now." He taunted as he laughed again, causing me to pout.
"You're hurting my feelings, Geo." I mumbled with the pout still affixed to my face as I cut my eyes at him.
"Aww baby, I'm only joking." He cooed as he pulled me into himself and pecked my forehead. "You're forever the most beautiful woman on the planet." He complimented, making me smirk.
"Really?" I blushed.
"Really." He confirmed. "I love you baby girl." He said as he pecked my lips repeatedly.
"I love you too." I reaffirmed against his lips as our kiss deepened.

"Come on, baby. Walk up." I instructed Guilia as we made our way across the parking lot at the supermarket.
"Remember that Daddy said he wants some new deodorant, Mommy." He tiny voice reminded me.
Of course she'd remember. She's Daddy's favorite and vice-versa.
"I know, Lia."
"I'm just reminding you." She smiled sweetly up at me.
"Ok, baby."
"Mommy, if you had another baby, will I still be your baby?" She asked.
"You'd always be Mommy's baby, sweets." I assured her.
"Daddy wants you to have another baby." She said.
"He told you that?" I asked.
"Yes, he did." She confirmed.
"When did he tell you that?" I interrogated her further.
"I don't know. Sometime ago." She shrugged. "Do you want another baby, Mommy?" She asked.
"Yes, I do." I admitted.
"So what's taking you and Daddy so long?" She asked.
Well Lia, during the week, you always crawl your tiny butt into the bed and prevent your father and I from having mind-blowing sex, but I can't tell your sweet, little, innocent self that.
Then,a lightbulb went off in my head.
"Mommy and Daddy can't have a new baby until the first baby stops sleeping in the bed." I smirked at how clever my response was.
"Why can't we all just sleep in the bed?" She asked.
"Because the baby will be tiny and fragile and we can't afford to squeeze him or her, Lia." I explained. "If we all sleep in the bed, we'd squish the baby."
"Oh. I'll stop sleeping in the bed tomorrow." She slightly pouted. "I'd sleep in the bed one last time tonight." She shrugged.
Yes!
"Awww baby, are you sure?" I cooed.
"Yes ma'am." She nodded.
"Ok baby." I did a mental victory dance. Finally, I won't have to worry about her walking in as soon as I'm about to orgasm and having to stop.
Mind-blowing sex, here I cum. Literally.

"Hi." I greeted as Jan opened the door.
"Hi." He reiterated.
"About the other day, I'm sorry." I quickly apologized."I was going through something with Jules and she told me that shit and added to my frustrations and as angry as I was, I shouldn't have come at you like that, Unc'."
"It's ok, son." He patted my shoulder. "I promised I didn't murder your parents."
"I believe you."
"Good." He smiled. "We're good."
"Yeah, were good." I pulled him into a father-son hug.
