--Julliet Parris--

"Pregnant, Jules!" Thalia yelled through the phone. "He done gotten the bitch pregnant!" She yelled again.

"Calm down, Thalia." I tried to coach her in remaining calm.

"I will after I set fire to this fucking house!" She continued to scream. "My shit is already packed and I am just ready to go. Elliott had some motherfucking nerve cheating on me." She rambled on.

"Thalia, are you even listening to me?" I questioned.

"Yeah." She went quiet for a bit. "I'm listening." I could tell that she wasn't really listening.

"Don't burn that man's house down. You'd just go to prison on arson charges." I sighed.

"At least he won't have anywhere to put that hoe and her baby." She gritted almost making me laugh.

"What about your daughter?" I questioned. "Think of how your actions will affect her."

"You're right." She sighed. "I'm just going to pack my shit and get lost." She announced.

"Good." I commended. "Then make your other decisions when your mind is clear." I advised.

"Thank for taking the time to hear me out, Jules."

"Oh, it's fine, Thalia. I've been there before." I reminded her. "I understand how you feel right now, but try your best to stay calm and handle this in a legal way." I emphasized, making the both of us laugh.

"Geo?" I called as I entered our bedroom.

"Yeah?" He replied.

"Call Elliott and put him on speaker." I instructed.

"Why?" He asked in a confused tone.

"Just trust me." I said as I watched him pick up his phone and called Elliott.

"Yo." Elliott's voice interrupted the silence.

"Ask him where he is." I instructed Geo on a whisper.

"Where you at?" Geo repeated.

"The hospital." He briefly replied.

"Whatchu doing at a hospital?" Geo asked with concern lacing his voice. "You got hurt?"

"Nah. Nah. Listen, if I told you something, you can't tell anyone." Geo glanced up at me, causing me to widen my eyes at him as a form of warning which demanded him not to take the phone off of speaker.

"Ok. Shoot." Geo prompted.

"I've been having an affair and my mistress got pregnant, but she had a miscarriage, so I'm at the hospital." Geo's eyes went wide at all the new information.

"Oh. A'ight then. Talk to you later then." Hanging up, Geo blew out an exasperated sigh. "Damn." He mumbled.

"You didn't know?" I questioned.

"No, I didn't." He assured me.

"Good, because I would've been so mad." I shrugged.

"You knew?" He questioned.

"About the cheating, not the baby." I informed him.

"Oh." He shook his head.

"Thalia told me." I shrugged.

"That's fucked up." He shook his head.

Well you—" I started, only to be cut off by him.

"Don't fucking go there!" He yelled. "I wasn't having an affair when Krys was conceived. You had left me." He defended.

"Yeah, but the relationship  you had with Krystal started off as an affair and you had an affair the last time we broke up." I corrected.

"Aren't we past those things, Jules?" He asked.

"I'm not sure, Geo. Are we?" I countered as my insecurities resurfaced.

"Really?" He asked on a scoff.

"Birds of a feather really do flock together, huh?" I shook my head at the entire situation. "First you, now Elliott."

I was becoming terrified of my husband cheating on me again.

"Fuck this." He mumbled as he stood up from the bed. "I'm not arguing with you over this bullshit." He growled.

"It's bullshit now, because you haven't done any of that in a while or I just happen to not know about it." I wrecklessly stated, causing him to narrow his eyes at me.

"What the fuck did you just say to me, Julliet?" He snarled.

"You heard me, Geovanni." I mumbled.

"You think I'm cheating on you?" He questioned in disbelief and offense.

"Anything is possible. That's why I'm leaving room for disappointments." I shrugged.

"That's how the fuck you really feel?" He scoffed after receiving no answer from me. "After five years of me thinking that we've been genuinely doing better, you've been speculating shit still?" He scoffed. "We still have these problems?" He continued with his rant.

"I'm just saying that I've been leaving room for disappointment."

"You know, I understand that Elliott and Thalia's situation put you in a spot. I understand that it brought back some memories, but I need you to think about all the shit we've been doing over the last five years plus to make this relationship work and decide if you're really willing to sacrifice it now over the way other people's situations are sudddnlt making you insecure all over again." He growled. "Because, I will not be going through the trouble of proving my fucking innocence to you when I've done nothing. Those days are done, Jules." He snarled as he left our room, slamming the door behind himself.

I walked over to our bed and plopped down on it, sighing.

What the fuck did I just do?

--Geovanni Parris--

I couldn't believe my wife right now. I thought as I lit the blunt. This was my first smoke in a couple years.

Elliott and Thalia are having issues and Julliet tries to turn it around on us.

We haven't had those problems in five fucking years and she wants to reference them when some shit between two other people pop off.

Next thing I know, she'll be searching my phone and checking my social media for signs of infidelity.

Why the fuck did Elliott's ass choose to even be so stupid and have a full blown second life?

I know that Julliet has been Thalia's confidante in all this.

Julliet better not fuck around and let that shit get to her head and start acting crazy, because this was honestly my last try.

The next time I'd be trying to make anything relationship-wise work is when I'm learning how to lead a single life or building a new life with someone else, because I am not going back down that road with Julliet. I've been there too many times and this was honestly the last straw.

The disappointing part was that this straw felt like the golden straw for all of five years.

Therefore, Julliet better make sure that it stays that way, because I am no longer willing to board the train of destruction in a possibly dysfunctional relationship.
