--Julliet Parris--
My phone ringing snapped me out of my thoughts. I quickly grabbed it from the bedside table and answered without even looking at the screen.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Julliet?" Oh my God! It's him. What do I do? I began panicking on the inside. How did he get my number?...Genovia.
"Yes, this is she." I decided to keep it cool.
"How've you been?" He asked.
"I've been good." I replied.
"Uh, it it possible for us to meet with each other sometime?"
"Sure." I mentally slapped myself for my response. "Why though?"
"I need clarification on our marriage situation."
"Cool." I shrugged. "I could just tell you now."
"Then, let me know." He prompted.
"We're still married, but we're not together."
"Are we getting a divorce?"
"That's your call." I sighed, causing him to do the same.
"I wanna see you, Jules." He paused a bit. "I miss you."
"Don't you think you waited a little too long for that?"
"I had no way to contact you. I don't even know where you live and the kids won't tell me." He explained.
"On what occasion do you plan to see me?" I asked. "If you want to meet up, we could meet at my parents' place."
"Let me rephrase; may I take you out to dinner, Julliet?"
"Yes Geovanni, you may." I cringed.
"Cool. What's the address?" He asked.
"You could pick me up at my parents'."
"Ok, that's fine." He sighed. "I can't wait to see you." I blushed at his statement.
"I guess I could say the same." I shrugged.
"See you at seven." He confirmed the time.
"Seven it is." I nodded as though he could see me.
"Goodbye."
"Bye." I replied as he hung up.
"Sounds like Dad scored a date." Krystopher smirked as he walked over into the kitchen, smirking.
"Ear hustler." I teased.
"It's about time." He shrugged as he made a beeline to the microwave.
"Sometimes, I feel like you use me for food." I commented.
"Dad doesn't cook us breakfast, so I'm grateful for you." He smiled at me. "However, don't try to change the topic, ma'am." He grinned. "What are you going to wear?" He pried.
"Something nice." I smirked.
"Wear something sexy instead." He erupted in laughter.
"You're gross like your Dad." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"I'm only trying to help you out, Mom." He shrugged. "Lia was the one who found your rubber substitute, not me." He said, making my eyes go wide.
"You kids snooped through my stuff?" I asked offensively
"Lia did." He shrugged as he grabbed his now warm plate from.the microwave and walk toward the table, sitting across from me. "She was making sure that you weren't involved with anyone else. Called herself looking for condoms and found your dildo instead, so she was satisfied." He shrugged.
"Do you kids invade your Dad's privacy like that?" I asked as he forked some eggs into his mouth.
"Stop saying you kids, Mom, it's just Lia." He corrected. "And then she confides in me, but yes, she snoops through Dad's things. His phone, emails, everything." He informed me. "She almost fought Arianne the other day." He started chortling.
"Oh my God, why?" I asked.
"She was wearing one of your rings and Guilia almost broke her hand off trying to get it." He chuckled.
"That's not funny, Krys'." I scolded.
"Not to Arianne." He corrected.
"Is she really your Dad's girlfriend?" I asked.
"So after you schedule a date with the girl's man, you worry about her." He laughed. "Classic."
"Correction. He's legally my man, so she's having an affair with my husband." I corrected.
"That's right girl, claim your man." He snapped all sassily, making me giggle.
"Stop Krys." I told him.
"No Mom, she's not his woman." He assured me.
"Good."
"So are you going to tell him about Junior?" He asked.
"I want to, but your Dad's temper has always been bad." I shrugged.
"How about you just introduce them to each other?" He suggested.
"You're trying to get me killed, Krys." I sighed. "I thought you loved me." I put my hand over my heart.
"I do love you, but he won't kill you. He probably won't even be upset." He shrugged.
"Krys, your Dad will pop off about me going through the risk of having Junior, then he'd pop off about me keeping him a secret and then he'd pop off about having you kids keep the secret right along with me." I explained.
"Or he'd just understand where you're coming from and not pop off at all." He shrugged.
"You don't know your father too well." I shook my head.
"You haven't interacted with him in five years, Mom. You're the one who doesn't know him too well anymore." He shrugged. "He's pretty chill about everything really. He even waited three months to put Arianne out." He snickered.
"Why are you laughing?" I giggled a bit.
"He took your ring back from her after he spoke to her like she's crazy." He chuckled.
"Mommy?" Geo Jr's tiny voice interrupted.
"Yes baby?" I replied.
"I want tuna casserole for lunch." He announced as he climbed into my lap and began playing on my phone.
"I swear you and brother only see me as a live-in chef." I stale faced them both.
"No, we see you as the best Mom in the world, who doubles as a fire ass cook." Krys grinned.
"I'm flattered."I rolled my eyes.
"You know it's true, Ma." He shrugged.
"Now Krys, I'm leaving you here with Jr., but I don't want any of them fast little girls in my house." I warned.
"You caught me the one time I had someone here and you swear I always do it." He shook his head.
"I don't care how many times it happened, just don't let it happen again. You know you can't take those little fast girls in your Dad's house."
"Only cause they think he's sexy, plus he's older. My Pops as my competition is not something to be proud of." He shrugged.
"Just don't have them here." I warned again.
"I won't." He stressed.
"And I'm not ready to be a grandma either."
"Don't worry, unlike you and Dad, I know how to wrap up." He laughed, causing me to shake my head.
