--Julliet Parris--
It was ten o'clock at night and my breasts just would not give me a break.
"What you pouting about?" Geo asked from his side of the bed as he looked over at me.
"My boobs are tender, that's all."
"You got your monthly?" He asked.
"No. At least not as yet." I honestly replied.
"Cool. It's probably about to come, because you also look a little bloated." He pointed out.
"Yeah." I agreed. "I thought so too."
"You're so beautiful, Jules." He complimented, making me blush.
"Thank you." I smiled.
"What you thanking me for?" He questioned. "It's the truth, babe." He pecked my cheek.
"Why didn't we figure this thing out sooner?" I absentmindedly asked.
"We were too young and busy being dumb, stubborn, selfish, petty, vengeful and the list goes on.
The moment we decided that we both couldn't take that anymore, we did what we should've always been doing and that's compromising, putting aside pride, putting aside ego, listening, having patience and understanding for each other and things fell into place.
Most of all our love outweighed our pride, ego, jealousy, vengeance and all that negative shit that was weighing down our relationship. We had to let that go, because we both knew we didn't want to have let each other go instead." He rambled.
"I'm just happy we made it work." I confided.
"Me too, Jules. I couldn't imagine life without you."
"Hold me, baby." I whispered as he cut the bedside lamp off. He turned around and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into himself.
"I love you." He mumbled against my neck.
"I love you too." I smiled.
We say that so much now, it's like second nature.
The door creaked open and we both sighed, knowing all too well that it was Genovia coming to crawl in between us.
On cue, her tiny body inched its way between Geo and I, separating us.
"Daddy?" She immediately called.
"Yes baby?" He replied.
"I wanna sleep with you and my Mommy." She whined.
"Baby, I told you that there are no monsters in your room."
"It's not the monsters. I just want to sleep here."
"Baby, you're becoming a big girl now. You can't sleep with us forever."
"But I'm still your baby." She protested.
