--Guilia Parris--

I climbed out of my bedroom window, which took a lot of skill since it was on the top floor of the house.

With a prayer, I landed safely.

I made my way around to the front, but froze, seeing Dad sitting on the balcony of his room, smoking a blunt.

Shit! I thought as I tried to figure out how I was going to make it out of the driveway without him seeing me.

I looked up, seeing him still in the same spot with his head in the direction of the driveway.

Think Lia, think!

I decided to walk around to the front door and walk down the driveway as if I initially went through the door.

If he sees me, I'll be in a lot less trouble if he thinks I came out the door.

"Get inside." A voice mumbled, startling me as the door was pulled open.

I looked behind me to see Thalia holding the door open.

"You don't tell me what to do, concubine." I snarled.

"I'm trying to save your fast little ass, the least you could do is respect me and next time, close the window you climbed out of." She spat back.

"I'm not fast, but you've been fucking a husband and a wife. So it's official, you're a concubine." I teased.

"Fine, I'm a concubine, but I could go up there and tell your Dad, I caught you trying to creep out." She challenged, causing me to huff as I pushed past her and went inside.

"You need to mind your own business and stay out of other people's relations, pun intended." I gritted.

"If you want me to go so badly, I will." She said. "I'll leave tomorrow, but you need to start doing better, Lia." She shook her head at me. "Your Dad is going through enough." With that, she turned and headed up the stairs.

--Thalia King--

I made my way down the hall to Geovanni and Julliet's room and grabbed my pillows and the book I was reading and headed out of the room and down the hall to the guest room.

I walked past Guilia on the way, saying nothing further to her as I went into the guest room and closed the door, getting in bed by myself.

I understand where Guilia's coming from. I understand her plight and I'd respect it.

Yes, she's a child and probably needs to stay in a child's place, but she's right, relationships are meant for two people and I had no business being in her parents'.

Could I help how I feel about Julliet? No, but I could help how I deal with it.

"Thalia?" A soft knock sounded at the door as I heard my name being called, by none other than Guilia.

"It's open." I called. The door opened and closed before Guilia came around the bed and into my view.

"Thalia, I'm sorry." She apologized. "Thank you for saving me back there." She continued. "I don't need Daddy getting anymore upset with me. You should go back to bed before he realizes that you're gone and it's my fault. I didn't really mean all those harsh things I said, it's just that when Mom and Dad were separated, I saw you leaving the house one time and I knew you were having an affair with my Dad, so I just assumed that you got involved with the both of them, because you really wanted my Mom's place." She explained. "Please, Thalia, I'm sorry."

"Your Dad and your Mom don't need me, they have each other. You're right about that and as I said, I'd respect my boundaries and your wishes by moving out tomorrow."

"Thalia, no. You're all Daddy has at the moment, please don't go." She begged.

"I'd come by and check on him as a friend. That's all I can promise."

"You're really leaving?" Geo asked as I packed my clothes into my suitcase. He scoffed as he continued. "This was all just for Jules, huh?" He questioned, not receiving a response once again. "Answer me, Goddamnit!" He gritted as he snatched the clothes I had in my hand.

"Could you just allow me to do what I'm doing?" I asked as I snatched my clothes back.

"Jules ain't here no more, so you're gone, huh?" He pressed.

"I just can't do this anymore." I sighed.

"Do what, Thalia?" He questioned. "What you agreed to?" He asked. "I never asked the both of you to involve me in this shit in the first place, but we came to an agreement and you're just going to leave because shit got rough?" He growled.

"Focus on Julliet." I retorted.

"You're jealous or something?" He asked.

"Why the hell would I be jealous, Geo?" I asked. "I knew what I was getting into. I know that you two are married and I'm just the third party here..."

"That's how we made you feel?" He asked. "Like a third party?" He questioned.

"Get real, Geo." I huffed. "What relationship has three people?" I yelled.

"I thought we were all ok with it..." He shook his head.

"Yeah, well, maybe you thought wrong." I began tearing up. I didn't want to leave. I'm in love with them both.

I don't want to go home and be lonely in my house, knowing that someone I love could die at any given moment. I didn't want to go be lonely knowing I'm breaking the other person's heart even more than it already is.

He's losing Julliet and I'm walking out on him too.

But I don't want Guilia to keep rebelling against her Dad and find herself in harm's way either. It's obvious that I'm the one person she loathes in this situation.

She's right, I need to find a man or a woman of my own and leave her parents alone.

"Why are you doing this to me?" Geo asked.

"It's what's best for everyone." I sighed as I grabbed my bag and headed out the door.
