--Geovanni Parris--
At the beginning of this date, I was extremely nervous to the point where my hands were extremely clammy and I was stuttering, but we were on our desserts and everything had gone smoothly.
I hadn't seen Julliet in five years and she looked amazing.
"Thanks for taking up my offer." I smiled at her as she shoved another spoonful of chocolate mousse into her mouth.
"No problem." She smiled back.
"So, do I have to drop you off at your parents or are you going to let me drop you off at your actual house?" I questioned.
"You could drop me off at my house, but first there's something that you should know, Geo."
My breath became hitched in the back of my throat for a bit as I nodded hesitantly. She could be about to tell me anything.
"Well, I have a son." She paused and checked for my reactions, but I was just listening for now.
"You actually went and had one with someone else?" I questioned, keeping my cool.
Dealing with the kids on my own for the past five years taught me how to be patient and understanding before I got mad.
She sighed and shook her head.
"Geo, I was already pregnant when I moved out. He's our son." She bit her lips as I processed everything.
"Ok." I nodded. "What's his name?"
"Geovanni." She replied.
"So he's a junior?" I asked.
"Yep." She nodded.
"Cool." I smiled at her. "When can I meet him?" I asked.
"You're not mad?" She asked.
"Nope." I shook my head. "I just can't believe that you actually went through the risk to have him." I admitted.
"It was a very difficult pregnancy and even more so without you." She admitted.
"Why didn't you just tell me?" I asked.
"You were so adamant about me not having a baby because of the risk and we had that stupid fight." She cringed. "I needed some space and enough time to enter my third trimester before telling you about my pregnancy, but I got scared and begged the kids not to tell you." She chewed her lower lip.
"It's fine." I assured her. "Once you're both healthy and happy. And once I get to meet him."
"You may."
"He a Momma's Boy like Krys?" I asked.
"Nope." She shook her head. "But he adores Krys."
"Let's pray that he doesn't bring bitches in my house like Krys does." I chuckled a bit.
"Krys brings girls to your house too?" She asked.
"Yeah, but he swears it was one time." I laughed.
"He says the same shit to me." It was her turn to laugh.
"Reminds me of someone in their teens." She smirked.
"I wasn't fucking that young, lah' girl."
"Maybe not, but you used to call me that everytime you were tempted to fuck me." She bit her lips.
"Let me take you home and fuck you." I shrugged.
"On the first date?" She pretended to act appalled. "I think not. Besides, you haven't even met my son yet."
"We're role playing already?" I asked. "Damn." I grinned. "And it's only the first date."

Geo and I walked through the door laughing only to be met with a stern-faced Krystopher, who had his hands on his hips.
"Excuse me, young man, you're way too close." He scolded his Dad. "And I asked you to be back by ten, young lady. It's nine fourty nine. You're late!" He scolded me. "Fifteen minutes early is late. Half an hour early is early." He continued with his antics. "You kissed my baby?" He narrowed his eyes at Geo.
"Boy, if you don't get your young ass on." Geo threatened as I continued to snicker.
"Where's Junior?" I asked as soon as I composed myself.
"Right here!" His tiny voice announced as he came around the corner. "Krys, you were supposed to come find me. I've been waiting forever." He whined, but paused as soon as he saw Geovanni standing there, causing to hide behind Krys.
My poor baby's shy.
"Hey." Geo smiled widely at our son, who was still hidden behind his older brother.
"Hi." He shyly replied.
"Are you gonna hide all night or are you going to come have a big boy talk with me?" Geovanni questioned, causing him to peer out from behind Krys.
"It's ok, baby." I assured him as Krys stepped aside, revealing him.
He looked up at me with pleading eyes for assurance. I nodded and signalled toward Geo, causing him to slowly walk over to his father, whose six foot frame towered over his tiny body.
"Hi." He repeated shyly with wide, nervous eyes. Geo stopped to his level and held his fist up for a bump. Junior hesitantly bumped Geo's fist and smiled a bit.
"What's your name?" Geo asked Junior.
"Geovanni Alexis Parris Junior." He rehearsed his name to Geo. "What's your name?" He countered.
"Geovanni Alexis Parris." Geo said to him, causing him to furrow his brows.
"You're lying." He giggled.
"No, little man, I'm being for real." Geovanni assured him.
"That's his name?" Junior asked me, causing us all to laugh.
"Yes baby, that's his name." I confirmed.
"He has my name!" Junior exclaimed excitedly with a huge smile and big surprised eyes.
"Nah man, you have my name." Geo's voice cracked a bit, warming my heart. I felt butterflies flutter in my stomach and my feet wobbled a little beneath my now weakened knees.
"I do?" Junior asked.
"Yeah. Junior means that you're the second Geovanni Alexis Parris." Geo explained to our son.
"So you're the first?" Junior questioned.
"Yep." Geo nodded.
"So I'm the little you?" He pried further.
"Yup." Geo chuckled.
"That's so cool!" Junior exclaimed excitedly.
"Yeah. It also means that I'm your Dad." Geo explained.
"You're my Dad?!" Junior wasn't ever one to contain his excitement. "Boyz this keeps getting better!" He excitedly chuckled. "Mom, I have a Dad!" He shared his good news with me.
"Yeah baby, you always did." I explained.
"I know, Krys told me. I just can't believe I'm meeting him." Junior continued to ramble.with excitement. "So you're Krys' dad too!"
"Yes, I am." Geo confirmed.
"I met our Dad, Krys!"
"I told you that you will one day, Homes." Krys smirked.
"You were right!" Junior exclaimed once more.
"Yes, he was." Geo nodded.
