--Lillet Morrison--

*Flashback*

"Tall, dark and handsome headed your way." My friend, Isis, informed me. "Don't turn around." She warned.

"Good evening, ladies." A smooth, husky voice greeted from over my shoulder, turning in it's direction, my heart sped up a few beats.

I made eye contact with the most gorgeous man I'd ever seen. My breath became hitched in my throat.

"Hi." I almost whispered in awe. I turned back to Isis for rescue, but she was gone. Turning back around to face him, my thoughts became a jumble.

"You look beautiful." He complimented.

"Thanks." I blushed.

"You're welcome." He smirked.

I was only nineteen then. Janvier had taken my breath away from that moment.

--Three months later--

"You trust me?" He asked. I nodded in confirmation.

Jan then took my lips in a passionate kiss as he rubbed his fingers against my peal, making my back arch toward him. He simultaneously sucked on my sensitive, erect nipples

"Lillet are you ok?" Jan's voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Y-yes." I stuttered, clearing my throat soon after.

"Are you sure?" He pressed the issue. "You've been quiet since we left Geovanni's—"

"I'm fine, Jan, really." I assured him.

"It's ok if she hurt your feelings, Lilly. She usually has no filter." He continued.

"For real, Jan," I grabbed his hand, silencing him." It's fine. "She didn't hurt my feelings to that extent." I tried my best to persuade him.

"You're sure?" He cupped my face between his hands, pecking my lips.

"Positive." I confirmed with a giggle. "I've actually just been thinking about us." I admitted.

"What about us?" He questioned.

"Oh, just stuff." I shrugged.

"What stuff?"" He continued to ask.

"I've been reminiscing mostly and thinking of the way things might have been if I hadn't left when I did." I confided.

"You wanted things to be different?" He asked.

"Didn't you want more kids, Jan?" I countered.

"I did, but I'm content with Julliet. Plus, Geovanni became my son by default." He shrugged.

"Have you ever thought about how difficult it would be for you to be playing the fence if they were to split?" I questioned.

"They're not going to split." He replied confidently.

"How are you so sure?"

"I just know." He shrugged once more.

"But how?"

"Geovanni fought a guy he thought Julliet cheated on him with." Jan snickered. "He was so upset about her cheating." He shook his head. "He came to me talking about he might need me to be his defense lawyer in an assault case."

"He beat the guy that bad?"

"I don't even know, Lillet." Janvier smirked. "What I do know is that he's a hot head, so anything is possible when he's upset."
