--Geovanni Parris--

Thalia headed toward the guest room as soon as she entered the house. I sighed at the realization that things were not going to be the same.

She was obviously still upset about what Lia said.

I promised her that no one was going to hurt her ever again with me around.

What the hell do I do when it's me and Julliet's child who's been harsh toward her?

What am I supposed to say now that she's been physically hurt by her soon-to-be ex-husband?

She barely escaped the same fate her mother suffered.

It all just proves that one day or even one second has the ability to change everything.

It only took a second for Julliet to block out and fall down our stairs, which resulted in her spending three months in the hospital.

I took Thalia's suitcase to the guest room, where she was initially staying and prefers to stay now.

She was sitting in the middle of the bed with her knees pulled up to her chest as tears streamed down her face.

"Ali..." I trailed.

"Just, leave me alone for a bit, please?" She requested.

Nodding, I respected her wishes, jogging back down the stairs and out the door to the car where Krys was.

I got in and released an exasperated sigh, shaking my head.

"You good, Dad?" Krys asked.

"Yes." I nodded. "Let's just go visit your Mom." I huffed, knowing that Julliet was going to be upset about not getting to see Thalia again.

It's crazy how quickly everything fell apart.

"Where's Ali?" Julliet questioned.

"She's at home, Jules." I informed her.

"Doing what?" She asked.

"She's been hurt." I explained.

"What?" She alarmed. "When?" She continued. "By whom?"

"Elliott." I shrugged.

"He was here earlier." She grimaced.

"He touched you?" I asked.

"No, he's not that brave." She scoffed. "What did he do to Thalia?" She asked.

"She got stabbed, Jules." Julliet brought her hand to her mouth.

"Oh my God, is she ok?"

"Yes Jules, she's fine."

"Why did she move out anyway." I huffed thinking about the long talk I had to have with her Jules about Lia.

"Jules, Lia's been a bit out of control lately." I sighed. "She's been sneaking out, buying weed with her allowance from God knows where and she's been having sex." I pulled my lower lip between my teeth.

"She's been sleeping with someone?" She asked.

"That's the thing, Jules, one person, ten persons... I don't know. I only know that she's been sleeping around and she has condoms. Lots of them. She also had Plan Bs, but I confiscated those and her keys. That only means she's been having unprotected sex as well, Jules. She's been stressing me the fuck out." I ranted

"What does that have to with Thalia?" Julliet asked.

"She called Thalia a concubine, obviously Thalia got offended and she said that she can't do this anymore." I huffed. "She packed up and moved out."

"What did you do about Lia?" Julliet questioned.

"I have no clue what to do, but to whoop her ass anymore." I shook my head.

"So why didn't you do that?" She questioned.

"You want me to whoop her ass?" I raised a brow at her.

"That doesn't sound like any child of mine." She scoffed.

"She doesn't sound like any child of mine, except Krys, but Krys has settled." I sighed.

"Come here." She opened her arms, causing me to smirk. "Let me look at you." I leaned over on her bed using my forearms.

She palmed my cheeks in both arms as she took in my features.

"I missed you." I uttered

"I missed you too, Geo." She blushed.

"Let me kiss you." I asked, causing her to lean in to me as our lips collided. "I love you, Jules." I mumbled as we pulled away.

"I love you too, Geo." She giggled. "I told you I'd never leave." She smirked.

"I really thought you were going to leave me here by myself." I chuckled.

"I would never." She laughed. "I made sure you had Thalia." She reminded.

"Jules, about Thalia..." I trailed.

"Geo, I love her. I'm not going to just drop her." She huffed.

"I know." I sighed. "It's just that we probably need to find her a place where she's safe and where what you two do doesn't affect our children." I shook my head.

"Geo, you saw what happened when you allowed her to move out." She released my face as she pouted with an attitude.

"Jules, she could move in downstairs with Brianna. Guilia isn't comfortable with your relationship with her and it's a bit disconcerting." I explained.

"Guilia has been many things lately." She huffed.

"Julliet, you can't be mad at Guilia for how she feels."

"I'm not mad at her, Geo." She gritted. "I'm talking about the other shit she's been doing." Her brows furrowed. "She's been raped, I get that. I've been raped too, but I shut down. I didn't go around fucking everybody and doing drugs. You were so fucking stern with me, what's the difference with Guilia?" She gritted.

"Jules, I tried..."

"You got the message across to me though." She scoffed. "Apart from grounding her what did you do?" She asked.

"I cut her allowance..." I trailed.

"Just cut it?" She asked. "Geo, you need to take it away all together and give her a schedule of chores." She demanded. "Every chore is worth two dollars and she has five chores per day and she has to do them by the end of every day." She continued. "In that way, she can't leave the house unless she does her chores and she gets half of her regular allowance anyway, but she's worked for it." Jules shook her head. "Take the door off of her room and give her a bed time as well. Keep her busy."

"Well damn, send her to prison then." I sighed.

"If it weren't for you being that way with me when I fucked up who would've known what might've been the outcome. You need to enforce it with her as well, Geo. And as for us and Thalia, I guess we'd figure something out." She sighed.

"Yeah. I guess so." I slowly nodded.

Welp, it seems like Julliet and Geo may have switched roles in the strictness department...
