Chapter 5 A Danger In The Forest

The shiny Charizard stood in front of them glaring down at Denny and Shawn. "Well, well what do we have here? Do you even know who I am?" They all shook their heads. "Well, my name is Darle, king of shinies now tell me little ones what do you think you are doing in my forest?" Shawn's fur fluffed out wild with fear as he stood frozen in place staring up at the shiny Charizard with wide eyes filled with fear.
"w- we didn't know this was your forest" He managed to stutter out in a shaky voice.
"Umm, that's because It's not his forest!" Denny retorted then the Charizard turned his red glare on Denny. "Excuse me? What did you just say to me?" He asked in a low threatening growl, then Frederick knew he had to back his brother up so he took a deep breath and forced himself to speak. "But we always lived here, no Mon owns the forest" Scarlet shot him and Denny a look and her eyes had a pleading glow to them, that told them to be quiet.
The shiny Charizard looked at him and Frederick froze, unable to move.
'Oh, Arceus I shouldn't have said anything now he's gonna kill me!'
Then to Frederick's surprise, his gaze softened and he gave him and Scarlet a friendly look.
"It's always nice to have new shinies in my forest, now you two are allowed to be here, but those two" he pointed with one of his claws at Denny and Shawn and buried his fangs in a snarl.
"Are not welcome here!" Shawn dropped down low with his tail tucked between his legs, "We're sorry! If you let us go we will leave I promise!" Then the Charizard relaxed a little. "Well usually I just kill Pokemon without warning but since you're so young I'll consider it, now if I ever see you in my forest again I will kill you." Shawn slowly nodded his head, but Denny stayed where he was and his lips were curling into the beginnings of a snarl. "And why do we have to leave hu? What do you have against us?"
The Charizard turned on him fast and shot a threatening glare "Excuse me? How dare you speak to me like that!"
Frederick had never felt so shocked he couldn't believe the way Denny was talking to the Charizard.
'doesn't he realize we're in serious danger right now?'
Scarlet whined. "Denny, please don't" she begged him. "No!" Denny's fur bristled showing his anger. "I'm not leaving just because you think you're special!"
"I AM SPECIAL!" Darle Roars out loud and they all had a look of terror on their faces. "You two better be gone in five minutes or else!"
Denny finally gave a sigh of defeat and then growled. "Ok, Fine! Have fun staying in this big empty forest all by yourself! And it's all because you're too greedy to share" But then as they tried to walk away the Charizard spread his wings out to block Fredrick and Scarlet from getting past.
Frederick immediately panicked as he realized the Charizard wasn't going to let them go.
"Hey, help!" Scarlet cried out making Shawn and Denny realize they weren't behind them.
"Let us go!" Frederick pleaded.
"You're not going anywhere I need as many shinies in this forest as I can get!" Darle growled.
Then he grabbed Scarlet and she cried. "HELP!"
"Let them go! You wanted us to leave so now we're leaving!" Denny spat. "Make up your mind, do you want us to leave or not?" Denny finished. "No one talks to me like that!" without warning, He hit Denny with a flamethrower and he gave a yell of pain. "DENNY!" Shawn cried out running over to his brother's side then froze when the Shiny Charizard loomed over them.
"Please just let us go!" He wailed.
"THEN GET OUT!" Darle snapped at him Frederick and Scarlet tried to run past Darle but then he grabbed them both and spread his wings open ready to take off.
Scarlet screams. "DENNY HELP US!"
Frederick felt terror, he couldn't believe that this Charizard was trying to kidnap them.
"He's trying to take us away!" He wailed.
Denny looked worried as he quickly got back up.
Shawn yelled as the Charizard started flapping his wings and lifting off the ground. "NO DON'T TAKE THEM PLEASE!" Shawn begged in a desperate tone.
"NOT ON MY WATCH!"
Denny yelled as he ran up and used a swift attack. "Shawn, I need your help. Aim for the wings!" Shawn quickly wiped his tears away and joined Denny on the attack as they both shot Swift at Darle's wings quickly bringing him back down to the earth.
He slammed into the forest floor.
Frederick and Scarlet both bit him as hard as they could, breaking free from Darle's grip.
The shiny Charizard got up and stomped a heavy foot down showing his rage.
"Oh, you just made a huge mistake!"
"I'm not going to let you take my siblings away!" Denny growled.
His fur was still bristling. "Oh, now you've done it! I gave you a chance to live but you blew it! now you're both gonna die!" Shawn gave a yell of Terror as he got hit with a flame burst and Darle ran up to him with murder burning in his red gaze. "NO!" Scarlet screamed and used a Quick attack reaching him in time to stop him from hurting Shawn any further then Fredrick ran over to help them out and used tackle.
Darle clawed at them and scratched Denny in the face.
Blood splattered on the grass then he used a whirlwind and they all went flying across the grass. Frederick felt weak as he banged against a rock, being smaller than the Charizard made a big impact from the hit.
He felt helpless as Darle slowly stalked up towards Denny and Shawn who were both lying together on the grass. They both looked scared, Fredrick tried to move but couldn't because he was too weak from the move, and to his horror, all he could do was watch.
Shawn gave a terrified screech. "Please don't kill us!" Denny was quiet, his eyes were wide with fear, then right as Darle was getting ready for the kill a ball of lightning struck him, sending him flying backwards.
Darle grunted and got back up until a thunderbolt struck him knocking him back down again.
"Who dares to attack the king of shines!" He howled.
A Jolteon stepped out from behind the trees, his fur spiked up with electricity currents flowing through it.
He glanced sideways at the four Eevee who were all Trembling in fear.
"All of you run now!" He ordered.
They all hesitated, still a little weak from the Whirlwind attack then the Jolteon snapped again. "LEAVE NOW IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!"
Then they all got up and ran as fast as they could for home.
As Frederick and his siblings were scorching through the woodland they suddenly ran into their father who looked shocked seeing the bruises they had on them.
"What happened?" He demanded, looking concerned.
"Daddy, daddy it's this Evil Charizard he tried to kidnap me and Frederick and then he tried to kill Denny and Shawn!" Scarlet cried.
"WHAT! Where is he now?" He asked.
Denny pointed with his paw in the Direction that they had just came from.
"A Jolteon saved us and he's fighting with the Charizard right now" he said.
"Ok, you kids get home now!, I'll deal with this Charizard"
Then he took off in a dash.
"No Dad, wait!" Scarlet called, with a worried tone but he was already gone.
"Ah, don't worry Scarlet he'll be fine, that Charizard will get what he deserves" Denny reassured her.
Fredrick frowned, feeling just as worried as Scarlet was. "I hope so"
"Hey, Instead Of standing around, can we please hurry home?" Shawn asked and with that, they all scurried home.
