Chapter 15 Signs of the Future

Scarlet's P.O.V. 

Scarlet was out in the shiny forest sniffing around 'Why does this area seem familiar?
Her gem started flashing and she started to see a vision again. "There was blood on the grass in front of her, and she heard a horrible sound coming from far off in the distance. She shook her head. 'I don't want to see this! She looked at the river and walked towards it, then froze 'This is where I drowned! Scarlet started running in terror the sound got louder and louder. 'What kind of Pokemon could make that awful sound?
"RORRRR!" Scarlet froze in horror. 'Just what kind of battle is coming? and is it good or bad? She sat down. Make it go away! I don't want to see it anymore.
Scarlet felt dreadful as she sat down in the grass with her head down and eyes closed.
'Am I gonna die in the war? I'm only gonna live up to that day?... No! She shook her head 'They are not after me, they're helping us to beat Darle that's what the whole war is about, to begin with.
Fredrick ran up to Scarlet looking happy "We're winning Scarlet, we're gonna be free!" Then he faded away and her gem stopped glowing.
Scarlet looked around and sighed in relief. 'OK so everything is good... but what about the part where I drown? will Fredrick be there? what if he dies in my place? He's a fire type.
She walked up to the river and her gem glowed when she got near the water, she looked behind her and saw the vaporeon glaring at her he ran up to push her. Scarlet closed her eyes 'He's not here but one day he will be. she opened her eyes and everything was back to normal.
Scarlet looked up. 'When the time comes, when Fredrick comes I'll just stay with him instead of trying to get back to camp, then I won't die hopefully. The sun was beginning to go down Scarlet started padding back to camp. 'I was too distracted I didn't even catch anything.
she finally reached the camp and walked in, then paw steps came running from behind her. "Get out of my way!" Erand shoved right by her almost knocking her over. "DARLE!" He yelled out then ran up to Darle's tree.
Scarlet felt puzzled. 'What's is he getting all worked up for? She walked by 'Well, whatever it is I don't care. Then Darle flew out and called. "Shinies gather around now!" He demanded.
Fredrick and Richard padded up to Scarlet and sat down beside her.
Fredrick gave her a puzzled look. "Do you know what this is about?" She shook her head "I just got back to camp."
Richard growled. "Just listen we'll know soon enough," Darle shouted. "Erand has found a shiny hideout!, their hiding by the beach in the woods, we must act at once!"
"What? oh no.." Fredrick sighed and then
he glanced at Scarlet. "Whoa! Scarlet, are you feeling alright?" The question took her off guard.
"What? Of course I am why ask?"
Richard looked at her. "Your gem! it's glowing! something bad is about to happen."
Scarlet glared at Erand. "Errr I hate him, he couldn't just leave those poor shinies alone!"
Fredrick frowned. "Anyone of these guys would have done the same thing." Erand jumped up looking pretty excited to expose them. "Everyone follows me! I know where they are!"
Darle flew up. "Cleo you're in charge of camp while we're gone, someone must keep an eye on the untrusting shiny Pokemon."
Cleo sighed. "Darn it, I wanted the action"
"Richard I want you to be part of this! and your kids this is a test to prove yourselves!"
Scarlet felt nervous. "Fredrick I don't think I have it in me to do this!"
Fredrick looked very unhappy. "Me neither but we have to." Darle rounded up a bunch of shinies. "Let's go now!" He flew up once again. "Erand lead!" Erand started leading the way out into the forest with the whole group behind him. Scarlet ran alongside Fredrick. "I feel really bad doing this!" She cried. "I know Scarlet but if we want Darle's trust then we've got to!"
They finally left the shiny forest and kept running on through the undergrowth.
"Erand where to now?" Darle asked. The shiny Absol paused seeming lost. "Umm... I think he said it was by a beach. or something."
"WHAT! Who?' You said you knew where they were!" He now looked nervous.
"Ah..ah I do I was talking about myself."
"Wow, I think he's lying. Fredrick growled "Listen he doesn't even know what he's talking about, what an idiot!" Scarlet laughed "Haha good then we won't find them" she replied.
Richard chuckled."Hehe, Then Erand will look bad I hope that happens, someone told him about them, and he's taking all the credit for it."
Earned padded towards the beach. "This way everyone!" They all followed again Scarlet ran trying to keep up with the group. She paused as she picked up a scent that smelled familiar and stopped. "Shawn? Denny? They were here?" Fredrick paused and nodded "They came this way, but the scent is fading, they must have been here this morning."
the sent was making Scarlet sad. "I hope they don't live around here!" Fredrick sighed. "They will be fine, don't worry."
They entered onto the beach, running across the sand to the woods on the other side.
Once they reached the woods they stopped "Well... we're here" Darle growled "I'm getting tired of this shit, where are they!" The bushes started to move and a shiny Pikachu peeked its head out and looked at them it's eyes grew wide with shock as it saw them.
Darle and all the shinies turned and stared back for a whole minute in silence, and then the Pikachu turned tail and ran away. "GET HIM!" Darle yelled and at his order, they all chased after the Pikachu. The Pikachu started yelling. "It's Darel! he found us!!" A whole bunch of shiny Pokemon jumped out. "WHAT!" They started screaming and trying to run away, Scarlet watched in shock as Darle attacked them, there was a mother Delcatty with her kid trying to get away, "Please don't do this!" The Delcatty cried, and Erand grabbed her and started beating her up then the Siktty started crying. "Momy, what's happening?!"
Fredrick ran up to Scarlet. "It's okay no one is gonna die, just attack one of the meaner-looking ones Darle is watching us." Scarlet looked around then she spotted a Blaziken. 'He looks mean, I'll go after him. Scarlet jumped at him and used Psychock which was supper effective, and the Blaziken fell. "GAH!"
She finished him off right away with a psybeam. "Hey!, who do you think you are?!" Scarlet turned around confused. "What?" A shiny Lucario was glaring at her. "What's your problem? we're just trying to live our lives in peace! And you think you can get away with this?" Scarlet shook her head feeling kind of bad now about it. "You don't understand, I have to, I'm sorry." He glared. "No, I don't think you understand! not just anyone can beat Codey!, he's my friend!" Scarlet returned the glare. "Well, I did beat him, sorry to say but psychic beats fighting type."
"What you think you're better than me now?!"
Scarlet gave a puzzled look. "What?"
"Oh, that's it!" He charged at her with a focus blast, but it wasn't very effective.
Scarlet glared as she got back up from the hit. 'Wow, these guys are mean. Maybe I don't feel bad about it after all. She thought Sccarlet used psyshock, and it was super effective, Lucario fell then got back up. "What did I do? hu?"
Scarlet was starting to get mad, she charged at him and used a Psybeam and it knocked him down, before he could get up she pinned him down and used psychic on him and finished him off with another psybeam. Scarlet looked around 'Where's Fredrick? She ran around dodging other Pokemon that were fighting then she finally saw him trying to take on two Pokemon a Piakchu and a Wigglytuff
The Pikachu ran up and used Thunderbolt, while the Wigglytuff used Tackle Fredrick avoided both of them and used overheat they both got blown away, and the Pikachu got mad. "I'll kill you Flareon! you're not better than me!!, no one is!"
Scarlet couldn't believe it. 'Are they all like that? She wondered. Then the Wigglytuff used tackle again. "Wow, that move is really weak." Fredrick spat at the Wigglytuff she glared. "Oh ya, I'll show you!" She ran up and pound the shiny Flareon stumbbled back a few inches then he
finished her off with a Flamethrower. The Pikachu got mad. "Die!" He ran at Fredrick but Scarlet shot him with psyshock before he could reach him. Then she used psybeam and Fredrick finished him off right away with flame burst. "Thanks, Scarlet... I can't believe how rude these guys are"
"Yeah, neither can I, I only feel bad for some of them, most of them kinda deserve it though."
Fredrick laughed "Haha yeah." Darle called out "Froce them to the shiny forest!" Fredrick looked at Scarlet "I guess we better do as he says" All the shinies started grabbing the fainted Pokemon and carrying them back, and some were forcing the ones still standing to go.
Fredrick picked up the Pikachu, then Scarlet grabbed the Wigglytuff and they headed back to camp. Scarlet looked around some of them were crying to go back, and some were snarling, she sighed. "I feel bad for the nice ones their lives are as crapey as ours now." Fredrick frowned "Well at least we will have their help when our brothers come for us."

It was nightfall when they returned to camp, Darel made the prisoner den bigger, there were at least 30 of them they had found and captured. Scarlet felt bad for them, she padded to her den and laid down in silence, Fredrick came in and Lay down next to her. *sigh*
"I hope Shawn and Denny are making progress right now."
"Yeah me too"
Scarlet got close to Fredrick his warm fluffy fur was keeping her warm, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Scarlet was dreaming of an old memory, she was back at home she was sitting by the river looking at her reflection in the water when Denny jumped on her. "Ahh! Denny!" She cried as he pinned her down. "Time for a wet willy!" He scoffed. "No!" She kicked him off and ran, he chased after her."
"I'm coming, Scarlet!" He teased "No Denny don't you dare!" She yelled then she tripped and sprained her ankle and fell, she started crying, and Denny stopped. "Scarlet, are you ok?"
"No, I was trying to get away from you! why are you always mean to me!" She started sobbing some more, Denny walked up to her "I didn't mean it, I was just having fun, please don't cry.."
Denny sniffed at her paw. "I'll be back Scarlet, just wait for me OK?"
He ran off. Scarlet tried to put pressure on it but it hurt too much, then Denny returned with funny-looking berries. "Eat these, Dad told me they are good for numbing the pain."
Scarlet licked the berries up.
Denny hugged her "Please forgive me, I didn't mean for you to get hurt."
Scarlet leaned on him for support. "Thanks, Denny, can you help me walk home?"
"Yeah of course I will Scarlet, I'm your big brother and I'm always gonna look after you, I love you"
"Thanks, Denny I love you too."

Scarlet woke up with tears in her eyes. "I miss him." She felt her heart breaking as she remembered her childhood memories with her brothers. "Denny... why?!" She was crying, and Fredrick got up. "Hu? Scarlet, What's wrong?"
"I had a sad dream, of the past, and now I wanna see Denny!" She started sobbing and Fredrick hugged her. "It's all right, you will again we just have to be patient." Scarlet got up she remembered what Denny had said when they were kids 'I'm your big brother, and I will always look after you, I love you.'
