Chapter 33 Escaping The Problems

Roary's P.O.V.

After Roary and Jennifer had been walking for an hour, Roary started to hear Mons talking. "Get down!" He hissed and couched lower to hide in the snow, feeling grateful that his pelt would be hard to see. Jennifer was crawling beside him "We're near the camp." She whispered, then when they got closer they hid behind some ice rocks for coverage. Roary looked around "It would be nice to have higher ground, so we can see better." Jennifer shook her head. "It's too risky especially for me after I just escaped." She said. "Ok, you wait here then, I'm not a shiny so they shouldn't give me any trouble" Roary said as he got up. Jennifer looked worried. "Wait! What are you doing?" Roary didn't answer, he padded towards the camp and strolled right into the heart of it while Jennifer stayed out of sight. 'Good someone who finally listens to me.'
Roary approached, and a lot of Pokemon looked at him and gave him puzzled glances while others were giving him unwelcome stares. An Espeon approached him. "Hello, this is our camp what do you think you're doing here?" He asked Roary stayed calm wanting to play it cool as if he had every right to be here. That way no Mon would suspect anything suspicious. Although lots of Mons were surrounding him now. He sat down and started licking his paw and replied in a cool voice. "Simple I'm here to join you guys." The Espeon growled, "How did you even know where to find us?" Roary met his glare. "Does that matter? I want to speak to your leader." Then a Night form Lycanroc pushed everyone aside as he walked right up to Roary. "I'm in charge while our leader is out." Roary felt unhappy with that news. 'oh so if Denny isn't here then that tells me where he could be, how did I see this coming?' He thought with annoyance. Roary met his glare. "So where is he then?" The lycanroc showed his teeth in a mean snarle. "That's none of your Business!" Then a big group of Pokemon came running into the camp with a Zoroark in the lead followed by a Jolteon and Sylveon. Roary got a better look at them, Lupin was among them. 'Well this doesn't look good' Roary sat back watching while all the Mons around him forgot about him and went running to the returning group. The Zoroark called out. "I have bad news to share." The Jolteon beside him was trembling with an expression like he just saw something terrible happen, and the Sylveon had a tearful gaze as if fighting not to cry, even Lupin looked sad and shaken up with a dreadful look on his face. Roary ran back to Jennifer really quick while no Mon was looking, Jennifer gave him a puzzled look. "What's happening?" She asked.
"Shut up and listen!" He hissed "Something isn't right." They could hear them talking from their hiding spot. Zeta called out. "Everyone our leader Denny has fallen into the bottomless gorge, and we're certain that he's dead, the only good news is that the shiny Flareon is finally dead." Roary could hear lots of Pokemon cheering with the news about Fredrick then they all fell quiet because their leader was dead. Then Zeta spoke again. "I will take charge in his place, Denny trusted me the most. I will carry on in his place to fulfill what he wanted! And that's  to annihilate all shiny Pokemon from existence!" Then all the Mons in the army started cheering again calling out his the name "Zeta!, Zeta!"
"But I got one more thing I'd like to do before we continue, I would like to send flying types down into the gorge to find him and bring his body back he deserves a proper burial" All the Pokemon started cheering again and all the flying types took off flying towards the gorge. Then Lupin called out. "What about me? What are you gonna do with me?" He yelped out loud. Zeta answered in a cool tone of voice. "After Denny's burial, you will be executed dear friend of Fredrick's! Put him in the prisoner cave with the others!" Lupin gave loud barks and yelps as they took him away. Jennifer looked at Roary. "So, now what's the plan? Are we gonna save him?" Roary started walking away. "We will but not right now Fredrick needs us more, he is in grave danger right now." Jennifer froze looking confused. "What?... but he's dead! Didn't you just hear them?" Roary kept walking towards the gorge. "No he's not I know that gorge, Denny is also alive so we must act fast!" Jennifer looked scared. "What if we bump into him instead?" Roary laughed. "I'm not scared of that Vaporeon I could beat him in a single-pawed battle, I had a good few fights back in my day."
