Chapter 17 Unnecessary trouble

Fredrick was sitting in the camp watching the new shinies, the Blaziken glared at Fredrick "What are looking at? Fleareon!" Fredrick slowly padded up to them. All the new shines were glaring at him. "Listen I know you all don't like it here, but neither do I, we're all on the same side"
"No, we're not!!" The Pikachu walked up to him. "I hate you Flareon you think you're better than us?" Fredrick felt puzzled. "Umm no, I only fought you guys because I had no choice, but now that you're here we can work together right?" The Blaziken suddenly kicked Fredrick.
"Oww!" Fredrick Kneeled on the ground. "That hurt! I'm trying to help!" The Blazikin kicked him right in the face the second time and Fredrick fell backwards on the ground some blood dripping from his face he wiped it with his paw then looked up at the Blaziken. "Ok, now you've done it! Screw you guys! I hope Darrle gives you the worst Treatment! I don't care anymore." The Blaziken crossed his arms. "What's that supposed to mean? Your not better we're shiny!"
Fredrick stared at him then tilted his head back in confusion. "What are you talking about? We're all shiny Pokemon that's why we're all here, to begin with in case none of you have noticed!"
"Yeah, but we're ultra shiny! That makes us two times better." Fredrick glared at them then shrugged it off. "Yeah, okay fine no Mon is as good as you are." 'Since that's all they want to hear. He began padding away.
'Ah, I'm not worried they will fight with us against Darle when the time comes. Fredrick thought confidently to himself.

Fredrick remembered back when he was an Eevee, He and his siblings were away from home playing outside when Shawn came running to them in a hurry. "Monster!!, Denny! Help!"Fredrick stood up. "Why are you running to Denny?" He asked. Shawn paused. "Because he's not scared of anything, he's really brave." Fredrick puffed out his chest. "Well, I'm not scared either Shawn." Denny padded over to Fredrick. "He's probably just overreacting like he always does Fredrick there is no monster." Scarlet hissed at them. "Oh, my Arceus! shut up, you guys!" Then she turned away, she was sitting on a rock looking into the water. Denny glared at her and then grabbed a pawful of mud. "I'm gonna smear this on her." Fredrick jumped in front of him. "No! don't do that." Shawn was crying.
"M-monster" Fredrick rested a paw on him reassuringly. "Don't worry Shawn. I'll go take care of it." Denny gave him a teasing look. "Nah, you're too scared, I should go with you." They both padded away together, Fredrick sniffed the air while Denny scanning the area. "Hmm, yea just as I thought, nothing" Fredrick glanced at the water. "What about that?" A Tangle looked at them. Denny paused in shock looking disgusted.
"Holy Arceus! What the Darkria is that thing?" Denny exclaimed then looked at Fredrick. "Is that even a Pokemon?" Denny asked. Fredrick looked at it then shrugged. "I... I think so." It looked up at them. "Hello there! My name is Harry."
Denny vomited in the grass. "Eww! That is so gross, don't touch me!" Fredrick gave him a shocked glance. "Denny don't be rude."
The Tangle walked towards them and smiled at them, Denny got up. "I'm out! Shawn was right you are a monster." Then Denny left leaving Fredrick alone with it.  The tangle looked at Fredrick "I like to swim." Fredrick felt uncomfortable. "Denny wait for me!" He ran away and caught up to his brother.
"Hey, let's go exploring just the two of us!" He suggested. Denny looked at him "What about Shawn and Scarlet?"
"Oh, come on Denny who cares they will be fine, you and I seem to have more in call common."
Denny smiled "Yeah we do, You're not timid like Shawn or sassy like Scarlet is." Fredrick jumped on Denny playfully. "Oh, now you've done it!" Denny tackled Fredrick back then they ran into the woods together and stopped by a big tree. "Fredrick I promise I will always be there for you, no matter what, you're my favourite brother." Fredrick smiled. "I have an idea!" He grabbed a rock and cut his paw with it, then passed it to Denny. "Let's become blood brothers!" Denny cut his paw and then they grabbed each other's paw and shook. "Fredrick I feel like you are the only one who understands me, you would never back down from a fight you would be there for me no matter what." Fredrick nodded. "As I would for Scarlet and Shawn. But I feel like you get me the most, this will be our secret, I'm sure Shawn and Scarlet have a special bond too."  Denny nodded his head. "let this mark be a promise that no matter the cause, No matter the situation we will always be there for each other." Fredrick held his gaze and then smiled. "You got it, bro, we will always have each other's back from here on end." Denny suddenly hugged him and Fredrick hugged back. Denny suddenly snickered then gave him a playful shove. "Come on Fredrick let's go and sneak up on them." He said giving a mischievous smile. Fredrick's tail waged as they both began padding back towards the others.
