Chapter 47 The Beginning Of A Journey

Jack's P.O.V

Jack and his pack were sleeping until they woke up when Voltaire called to them. "Enough sleeping! It's time we train for battle! We will attack in a few days which means we have a lot of work to do!" Then a bunch of Luxios started battling each other. Jack looked at his pack not knowing whether he should join the training or not then Voltaire glared at the Lycanrocks. "I SAID TRAIN! If you want to win this battle you need good practice!" Then they all scattered off to join in with the Luxios. Jack tried to follow his pack mates but Voltaire got in his way. "So you're the leader right?" He asked. Jack slowly nodded his head. "Yes, You can call me Jack." Voltaire smiled at him. "That's good to know come on I'll teach you a few moves." Jack nodded as he followed after him. "Hey, before we start I hope you don't mind me asking but what do you have against Storm anyway?" Voltaire froze then turned a sharp glare on him making Jack regret asking. "That's none of your Concern! Now don't ask me any more personal questions or next time there will be trouble." Jack gulped nervously there was something about this guy that just didn't feel right. "Well, what are you waiting for? It's time for lesson one!" Voltaire said as he tackled Jack pushing him over and using a thunder fang. Jack let out a yelp and then used crunch to get him back. Voltaire suddenly got mad and used a powerful Electric ball that exploded right at Jack as it hit him causing him to skid across the earth. As he landed on the ground the shiny Luxray used volt tackled and then pinned him. Voltaire was surprisingly strong as he unsheathed his claws and then stabbed them into Jack digging them in deep before tearing them back out. He let out a shocked yell as it really hurt. "Wait! What are you doing?" He cried as he met the shiny Luxray's cold stare. Everyone stopped practicing to watch in shock. Voltaire growled at him. "Your pack now belongs to me!" Then he bit Jack's throat and sank his teeth in deep. Jack was shocked by this action he struggled but it was no use he was losing too much blood already and he slowly became dizzy as the world around him began to fade out into nothing. He could hear the horrified yells coming from his pack as he lost sight of everything. Everyone gasped in shock as he fell limply to the ground and then finally, everything was quiet.

Fredrick's P.O.V.

Fredrick was sleeping when he woke up at the sound of Roary's voice. "Come on get up Fredrick everyone is waiting on you!" Feeling puzzled he got up and padded outside feeling a bit drowsy he yawned. "What's everyone waiting on me for?" He asked and Jennifer giggled. "For training silly what else?" Lupin let out a sigh. "But there isn't even enough of us to take on Denny!" Roary hissed. "I know that! But not training isn't going to help us either now is it?" Fredrick sighed. "We need to find more Pokemon to join us Lupin is right." Roary looked frustrated. "Yes and we will but first, I think you could use a few lessons." Fredrick sighed feeling a bit lazy.
'But he's right if I'm gonna take on Denny I need to make sure I'm at his level.
Roary glanced at Lupin and Jenifer. "Ok, you two battle each other. I want to teach Fredrick something useful." Fredrick didn't like the sound of that. Jenifer dipped her head. "Ok, good luck Fredrick." Then she and Lupin ran off to practice on each other while Roary walked up to Fredrick. "Ok, I'm going to attack you what I want is for you to Dodge every move I throw at you ok?" Fredrick nodded. "Ok." Roary used water plus feeling shocked Fredrick got hit and the Persian hissed. "What did I tell you?" Fredrick got up and shook out his fur. "You didn't mention you were using water attacks!" He growled Roary gave a sigh. "Denny is a water type and he's gonna go after you. And with him, it's gonna be nothing but water attacks and you need to be ready for it because once you faint at his paws he'll kill you and it's over." Fredrick finally understood the lesson and then dipped his head. "Ok, I'm ready." Roary used Water Plus again but this time Fredrick dodged it. "Nice!" Roary purred. "Faster!" He used it again and Fredrick moved away in time then Roary ran up to claw at him Fredrick yelped as his paw struck him hard across his face the shiny Flareon got back up. "What did you do that for!" He snapped and Roary glared at him with his one good eye. "Because I'm your attacker Pretend I'm Denny if I can get you to faint then you lost now impress me!" Fredrick moved away trying to focus. 'If I lose I die, if I can do this then I'll be ready next time I see my brother. Roary used a water puls and Fredrick moved away and used a flamethrower, Roary hissed. "It may have a good effect on me but not on a Vaporeon I want to see something better." Fredrick growled. "Like what? My shadow balls don't work so well either!" The cat-like Pokemon stood up. "Well, then try something else," Fredrick grunted. "Like what?" He asked rolling his eyes Roary looked at him. "Why not try learning hyper beam? That might do more damage on Denny." Fredrick sighed. "There's no way I'll be able to do that!" Roary laughed "Do you know how hard it was for me to learn Water Plus? or Thunder? it's a challenge but worth it I'll help you." Fredrick met his gaze "Ok, here goes." Then he tried his best to focus on a lot of energy and a big blast escaped his muzzle but to his dismay, it was a fire blast that came out. Roary moved away and shook his head. "Again!" Fredrick tried and another fire blast came out then after so many tries he stopped. Roary looked frustrated. "Well it's a tough move but don't worry you'll get it if you keep trying now let's finish this battle and see if you can beat me without hyperbeam." Fredrick nodded then charged at Roary using a bite he hissed then used water plus on Fredrick. He gave a frustrated grunt as it splashed him in the face then he growled and used a shadow ball but Roary moved away and then jumped at Fredrick using Water Plus again. Fredrick started to feel dizzy then Roary pushed him down and held him tightly under his paws. Fredrick struggled but couldn't shake him. "Come on Fredrick!" Roary hissed "I'm gonna beat you! Be strong push me off." Fredrick blew a flamethrower but Roary ducked his head as the flame blasted by then he finished Fredrick with another water plus, Fredrick blacked out as he fainted.
