Chapter 32 Death Awaits

Fredrick's P.O.V.

Fredrick felt horror as they both fell into blackness. He felt panicky as they were still falling and Fredrick couldn't see anything he gave a sad wine. "Well, this is it Denny we're gonna die!" Fredrick couldn't see his brother but he could feel him falling beside them. "SHUT UP!" He snapped "This is all your fault!" Then suddenly they hit the bottom and Fredrick got knocked out by the impact.
After hours went by Fredrick opened his eyes "Ugg am I dead?" He looked around but couldn't see anything as it was pitch black. He used ember to light up the place so he could see, he was lying in a big pile of snow Denny was beside him lying in the snow unconscious. Fredrick's heart skipped a beat. "Denny?" feeling worried he poked him with his paw but the Vaporeon didn't move making him more worried.
'I know he caused me a lot of pain but he's still my brother'
Fredrick used another ember to make more light his body temperature started heating up due to his stress. "Denny, please wake up!" Fredrick grabbed him and pulled him through the snow Fredrick looked around 'How do we get out of here?' Denny was still unconscious.
Fredrick started dragging him through the snow 'I just want to make sure he's somewhere safe then I got to get out of here, if I stay with him he'll surely try to kill me' Frederick kept wavering through the snow until finally there was sunlight. Fredrick lay Denny down and looked at him "Denny?" He placed his paw on the Vaporeon's chest feeling for his heartbeat then he felt it.
'Oh thank Arceus! he's breathing he's going to be ok, but I got to get out of here before he wakes up or I'm not going to ok!'
But it was too late the Vapreaon's eyes flew open. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET AWAY FROM ME!" he screamed looking very enraged and aggressive. Fredrick backed away filled with panic he turned tail and started running for his life. 'I got to get out of here! he's going to kill me!'
"NOT SO FAST!" His brother shouted.
Then Fredrick heard paw steps pounding after him. "OH, NO! YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY THIS TIME YOUR MINE!" Denny shouted at him, Fredrick felt panicky he knew he couldn't outrun the Vaporeon, and then sure enough Denny was right behind him. "Ah ha! I've got you now!" Then he leaped for the Shiny Flareon and was on top of Fredrick in seconds. "Noo!" Fredrick gave a despite cry. "Please just let me go! Why am I that important to kill?" Denny sank his claws into Fredrick's skin drawing blood then he leaned forward and tried to sink his teeth into Fredrick's neck. Fredrick kicked desperately at him and clawed him in the face Denny gave a frustrated screech as he got pushed away before he could end his life. Fredrick was breathing fast filled with panic as his heartbeat was racing so hard it was becoming harder to breathe as he watched Denny. The Vaporeon lifted his head to glare at him there was a scratch on his forehead with fresh blood dripping down his face now, he looked angry then he relaxed and grew a smirk on his face. Fredrick felt scared knowing his brother must have very bad intentions with him, he couldn't control his body temperature as it started going up. Denny glared at Fredrick and then used a hydro pump. Fredrick coughed and spit water up, his fur was dripping wet. Denny leaned down and used water to cool him down more, Fredrick felt more panic he didn't want to lose his heart temperature. He was fighting hard to heat back up again then Denny gave a mocking laugh. "Haha, Now I have you right where I want you, Frederick!" Frederick closed his eyes some tears were dripping down his cheeks he didn't want Denny to see that he was crying. Denny snapped at him "Look at me!" Fredrick opened his eyes and met his brother's icy stare. "What do you want?" He mumbled out.
"if you're going to kill me just get it over with" Denny smirked at him. "Oh, don't worry I intend to, but first I need to know what you're hiding!"
Fredrick felt shocked. "WHAT! But I'm not hiding anything!" He yelled. "LIEAR!" Denny spat, then used a water gun Fredrick felt pain shoot through him. "W-why a weak move?... what are you doing?" Denny sank his claws into Frederick once more. "I'm slowly gonna put you out, I know how you fire types work you have an eternal life flame that burns within you, and when your body temperature lowers the flame will slowly die down. Now, do you see where I'm going with this?" He asked. Frederick started breathing faster feeling sick with panic. "No! You can't do that, it's torture!" He hissed.
"Oh really? Hmm, I didn't know that," Denny said with sarcasm in his voice. "Now Fredrick when you want this to end all you gotta do is tell me what I want to know or you can suffer a slow horrible death, your choice." Fredrick gasped in shock. "I don't know what you're TALKING ABOUT!" He wailed out. "Wrong answer!"
Denny used water plus Fredrick yelled in pain "Stop please!" He Beged then Denny scratched him with his claws. "I heard that you were with two shinies but when I found you it was just you Shawn, Kyle and Jessie so where did the other shiny go? ANSWER!" Fredrick felt more shocked he knew he couldn't answer because Jessie was the other shiny. "I'm not hiding any shinies from you if that's what you think." Denny's lip curled in a snarl. "So you do know where the other shiny is? tell me!" He used water plus again Fredrick felt the stinging pain and couldn't handle it anymore he screamed. "You're crazy!" Then he used a shadow ball and pushed Denny off and used Iron Tail. Fredrick was struggling to find his footing as he was feeling really weak and wet. Denny jumped back to his paws "Oh, big mistake!" Frederick slowly backed away. "Stay away from me you psycho!" Denny glared at him "Not until you fess up and tell me what you're hiding!" Frederick got scared and started running as fast as he could then Denny started chasing him. "Give it up Fredrick you're too weak!"
Frederick knew Denny was right but he wasn't going to give up he didn't want to die not down here by the paws of his murderous brother, He
tried hard to use overheat and his temperature started going up then he burst out a big blast of flames, Denny stopped as they both froze there was a cracking sound coming from the walls around them, then a bunch of big ice pieces came showering down towards them. Fredrick started running again, Denny tried to follow but then a big ice rock fell in front of him blocking his path. "Hey, get back here I'm not done with you!" Fredrick finally stopped running when the ice stopped falling he froze when he realized what had happened, there was a huge pile of ice rocks Separating him from his brother. Fredrick gave a sigh filled with relief. 'oh thank Arceus!, Scarlet and Shawn must be helping me!' Frederick could hear Denny on the other side clawing at the ice "This isn't over Fredrick! I will find you again and when that happens Arceus help you!" Fredrick sighed. "Well, good luck with that Denny! You lost your last chance I'm never gonna die!"
"YES YOU WILL AND THAT'S A PROMISE!"
Fredrick growled. "Yeah, you were never good at keeping those. Later, Denny, I'm getting out of here!" Denny was yelling and getting mad.
"I will kill you I'm a water type and your fire! I will win in the end!" Fredrick started walking away. "Don't I feel special?" He muttered as he left Denny behind running through the snow. 'How do I get out of here?'

After Fredrick had been walking for hours the walls were starting to get lower until finally, he was able to climb his way out 'I have to rescue Lupin and find Roary and Jennifer before Denny gets out!' Fredrick started running back towards Denny's camp staying low trying to stay out of site. 'My only advantage is everyone will think I'm dead" Then another thought hit him "They think Denny is dead too probably. I wonder Who is in charge then?

Denny,s P.O.V

Denny was clawing at the ice rocks trying to climb his way up. He managed to get a couple of paw holds just to lose his grip and slide down to the bottom again. Denny felt frustrated. 'Fredrick is getting away! I need to get to the other side of this!' Denny used scald attempting to melt the ice with his hot water move but unfortunately for him, the water froze up right away making the ice more slippery. Denny gave a frustrated growl then with no other choice he started padding in the opposite direction that Fredrick was going. 'I guess I'll get back to my camp and hopefully, he will come' Then the thought hit him. 'Lupin! Of course, Fredrick cares about him I can use him to get what I want I just have to beat him there!' Denny started running through the ice feeling eager to get back to camp.
