Chapter 45 The Lycanrocs

The pack P.O.V.

The lycanrocks were walking on through the forest. A lycanroc named Jack was their leader in the search for the shiny Flareon. He growled, "Oh this is hopeless how are we supposed to even know where that flareon went?" He snapped feeling worried for his pack. His pack leader Chief had put him in charge of the group they took, while the rest of the pack was back home counting on him to find this shiny flareon for their sake. 'I think this Flareon may be a friend of Roary's we did let them stay with us... Until that Vaporeon found us out, I hate doing this but it's that Flareon or us. They all travelled on until they decided to stop to rest Jack sat under a tree. 'We have no way of finding the shiny Fareon... What am I to do?
He dropped his head down to look at his paws suddenly everyone lifted their heads when there was a rustling a Manectric walked out with a bunch of Electrics behind him. "Umm, what are you doing in my forest?" He asked. Jack growled and got up. "Oh, yeah and what makes you think this is your forest?" The Manetrick's eyes narrowed and he growled. "No one speaks to me like that! You must leave at once you're not welcome here!" He snapped then Jack frowned. "Ok, fine we'll go but before we leave may I ask you something?" The Manectric looked puzzled. "I guess.. what?" He asked then Jack asked the question. "Have you seen a shiny Flareon around by any chance? We're looking for one I assume his name is Fredrick but we must find him." The Manectric raised an eyebrow. "I want to know why it's important?" Jack glared at him. "That's not your business." He snorted. "Oh, well in that case I can't help you then." Jack gave a frustrated sigh. "Denny sent us he's this evil Vaporeon we know from back home anyways. He's the one who wants him, we're just doing this for the sake of our pack." He paused seemingly to be in deep thought about something then he answered.
"Sorry haven't seen one now get lost." Jack felt puzzled "W-What?"
'But why did he want to know our reason for finding him? He must be lying!
Jack unsheathed his claws. "I know you're lying!" He snarled then the Manectric shrugged. "So maybe I am. But you know what he's in my forest because I allowed it, but you and your pack are not to come here again is that clear?" A lot of the laycanrocs fur bristled and they were getting ready to fight Jack eyed him. "We need him for our pack... please help us." But to his disappointment the Manectric shook his head. "Nope! No can do! I don't care about your pack, now get out before I make you leave!" But Jack refused and signalled for his group to attack and everyone broke out fighting.

Fredrick's P.O.V.

Frederick was battle practicing with Lupin trying to learn stronger moves. Lupin was panting. "I think we should call it a day I'm tired." Fredrick felt tried to. He looked around and then sighed as the sun was going down and everyone was getting ready for bed. "I suppose you're right it is getting late." Lupin let out a tired yawn. "I'll see you in the morning Fredrick." Then he walked away heading for his den. Fredrick looked up at the stars. 'Even though we were just training it wasn't enough Denny has a whole army, and I only have six Pokemon, we need more Pokemon to join us. He headed for the camp entrance. "Hey, Fredrick!" He looked to see Jennifer run up to him. "Where are you off to?" She asked. "Just going out for a walk I need fresh air." He replied. She looked at him with excitement glowing in her eyes. "Mind if I join you?" Fredrick sighed. "I... I'm sorry but I kinda want some time alone, maybe tomorrow ok?" She looked hurt by that answer. "Oh, ok I guess." Her ears were drooping as she padded back. Fredrick suddenly felt bad for her. 'Did I hurt her feelings just now? I didn't mean to, I hope she'll forgive me when I talk to her tomorrow. He headed out of camp by himself. He found himself staring at his reflection in the water then his ears shifted as he heard paw steps coming he turned In surprise to see Storm approaching him. "Hey, you shiny. Just letting you know that there are intruders outside our forest if you see them make sure you chase them out. Since I was nice enough to share with you I expect you to help defend it."  Fredrick tilted his head. "Oh, ok... what are you doing up at this hour?" He asked them Storm just gave him a glare. "You know I could ask you the same thing! I'm checking around the forest to make sure they're all gone, and if I were you I would be cautious. They said they were looking for a shiny Flareon, and I'm pretty sure that's you." Fredrick felt shocked. 'That has to be Denny!
feeling panicky he said, "We can't let them get in!" Storm nodded. "Exactly that's what I'm doing right now, but if I were you I would just head back home your a fire type and fire is weak against rock." Fredrick felt puzzled. "Wait... rock? you mean water right?" He shook his head "Weren't you listening? I said rock types they're laycanrocks!" Then he walked away after leaving Fredrick feeling puzzled.
'Laycanrocs? What do they want with me? Feeling curious Fredrick went his way trying to pick up their scent trail. 'Are they looking for me? It sounds like that pack that helped us maybe they just need something I want to find out.
Then Fredrick made it to the borderline. He looked around. "Umm, hello? Is anyone there?" He called out. Are first there were a few moments of silence then he got an answer. "Yes, I'm here." A pair of blue eyes were glowing in the dark then a day form Lycanrock walked from the shadows.
He had a few wounds on him like he was in a fight. Fredrick tilted his head. "You're from that pack that helped us back in the ice mountains.... what brings you over here?" He asked. The Lycanric hesitated then answered, "My name is Jack I was sent to find you." Fredrick flickered his ear. 'This must have something to do with my brother! Ugg Denny, what did you do this time? He thought with frustration. "Let me guess... after we got away Denny threatened you didn't he?" Jack nodded his head. "Please I must protect my pack we don't stand a chance against him, I need you to come with me, I hope you understand." Fredrick shook his head. "I can't do that! I have lots of other stuff to worry about I'm sorry that my brother is a threat to you but have you maybe considered the idea of just moving your pack to live somewhere else?" Jack's eyes narrowed and he growled. "It's no use! Evan if we do leave he will track us down and destroy our pack! if he was able to destroy Darle then surely he'll kill us!" Fredrick backed away feeling nervous.
Rock beats fire, oh shit why is my attacker always my weakness? "I'm sorry look I'm planning to wipe out Denny I'm trying to form my own army, why don't you just get your pack to come here and join us? I mean the more Pokemon the better right chance we have at winning right?" But to Fredricks's dismay his eyes grew wide with shock. "Are you crazy? A war with that guy is what we're trying to avoid!" Fredrick shrugged. "Well, then I don't know how to help. I'm sorry."
'Ugg why does everything have to be so complicated? What does this guy want to form me? can't he see I'm doing everything I can to help, and doesn't he know that Denny will kill me if I go with him? Then a bunch of Laycanrocs emerged from the undergrowth and Jacked forward. "Well I'm sorry but I gotta put my pack first and what is one life compared to a whole pack?" Fredrick's ears dropped. "B-but I had a dream... I can't die or many more lives will be lost." More Laycanrocs came out from their hiding places surrounding him. "Please don't make this hard for us you must understand." Fredrick got frustrated.
'No, if they take me no one will ever know about it! I'm the only one who can stop Denny! I gotta get away! Fredrick then had an idea of how he could trick them. He took a deep breath. "Ok, I will go with you." Jack smiled. "Good now let's go!" He snapped and all the laycanrocs surrounded him Fredrick frowned. 'This is not what I had in mind. I can't go! Fredrick looked at Jack. "Wait so where are you taking me?" He asked and Jack answered. "To the ice mountains where else!" He snapped. Fredrick used a flamethrower on one of the Laycanrocs. "I'm not going there!" He yelled. 'That's too far away!.... I won't be able to get out alone.... plus I have to be a prisoner until Denny returns. Fredrick got attacked when Jack gave the order and he blacked out as they all overwhelmed him with their rock moves.
