Chapter 41 The Lost Travelers

Kyle's P.O.V.

Kyle and Kevin were padding through the snow. Kyle's eyes screwed up as they were caught in the middle of a heavy snowstorm and it was becoming hard to see. He started shivering as it was too cold while Kevin didn't seem to be bothered by the cold weather at all due to being a fire type. "Kyle, stay behind me for shelter I can handle it," Kevin said with a hint of worry in his tone. But it was too cold and Kyle was starting to feel like he might not make it then he felt tired. "I can't! I need to find Shelter! I'm too cold and tired." Kevin stoped. "But we're getting close! Come on Kyle don't give up you can do it please!" He begged but the shiny Lycanroc fell he couldn't take it anymore. Kevin walked up to him. "I'll carry you if I have to! I'm not leaving you here!" Then he grabbed Kyle and got him onto his back and started carrying him the rest of the way.

When Kyle opened his eyes he felt the warm sun shining on his pelt. "Hu? Where are we?" He asked then he looked around to see that they were no longer in the ice mountains but in the forest instead. "Oh, Arceus how long was I out!" Kevin padded up to him. "You were out for nearly a day but it's ok I saved you! We're safely out of the ice mountains!" Kyle smiled. "Well, that's good but I kind of miss Fredrick and Shawn do you think they're dead? I feel like Jessie could have been lying because she's on Denny's side now." Kevin looked down. "I don't know. Maybe Denny told everyone I was dead but yet again. He thought that he killed me." he looked around and sniffed at the ground then his ear twitched. "Did you hear that? Hide quickly!" They both hid in the cover of tall grass. As they were hiding a pack of Lycanrocks walked by. "Which way do you think that shiny Flareon went?" One asked and another replied, "Maybe we should try asking other Pokemon?" Then another snarled. "We need that shiny Flareon found to save our pack!" Kyle got excited. "They must be talking about Fredrick!" He got up and Kevin growled in a low voice. "Kyle, what are you doing they'll see us!" He sounded panicky but Kyle ignored him. "Hey, why are you looking for a shiny Flareon?" He asked and all the Lycanrocks shot a glare at him. "It's one of those lone Lycanrocks! Make him leave he's not welcome here!" One growled and Kyle laughed. "Oh, please I wasn't planning on joining your pack, I was just asking a question. Did you guys come across a Vaporeon by any chance?" They all went quiet. "We did and he's going to end our whole pack if we don't find that shiny Flareon! Have you seen him?" Kyle shook his head. "No, I haven't" Then a dusk form stepped up and growled. "Are you a friend of his? How did you know about the Vaporeon?" Kyle's ears went down. "W-What if I said I was a friend of Fredrick's?" They all glared at him. "Then you must know where he is! You will come with us until we find him!" Kyle turned and ran. "Kevin run!" He yelled and Kevin ran out and they both made a break for it as all the Lycanrocks chased after them.

Denny's P.O.V.

Denny was walking through the ice mountains with Charlie, Zeta and Jessie right beside him he got frustrated as it got colder and Charlie complained. "Hey, umm Denny I'm getting cold do we have to go this way? I mean I'm pretty sure Fredrick and his friend left the Ice mountains already." Denny rolled his eyes feeling frustrated. "I know. I'm not after my brother right now we're looking for Articuno who will be living at the top of this mountain if you must know!" Then Zeta growled. "Geez Charlie were you not listening to Denny's plans at all? It's like you are always in your little world." Then Jessie giggled a bit. "Hehe, he never knows what's going on." Denny felt a little better after hearing Jessie talk for a change until Charlie went on again. "So why are we after more legendary's?" Denny didn't want to answer that. 'What does he think? He's not that stupid, is he? Then he poked Denny with his paw. "Hey, you didn't answer my question!" Then he snapped. "WHAT DO YOU THINK!" He yelled Charlie looked taken aback. "Well, you don't have to bite my head off over it." Then Jessie glared at him. "Well, it's not his fault that you're an imbecile that never listens!" Then Charlie grumbled. "Whatever..." Zeta sighed. "So shut up with the dumb questions." Charlie looked at Denny again. "But what do we have to get legendary's for? I mean aren't you strong enough to kill Fredrick yourself?" Denny felt irritated with him now. "Of course I am! Fredrick doesn't stand a chance! I would laugh if he ever tried to take me on! It's the fact that he's trying to make a group, that keeps getting bigger with shiny Pokemon I couldn't help but notice. If I can get help from Legendary's like I did before I can end Fredrick's group once and for all!" Charlie frowned. "So if you're with Fredrick you die? Well, I wouldn't want to be his friend if that's the case.." then Denny smriked. "Exactly! See now you're catching on! No one will want to be around him. So no one will help him, then when he's defence I'll end him! But I'm thinking he'll die with his group when we attack." Charlie didn't seem very happy he sighed. "Denny?" Zeta growled. "Oh for the love of Arceus, you never shut up! It's going to be a long trip!" Jessie also sighed with annoyance then Denny asked. "What now?" Charlie hesitated. "Well, don't you think we killed enough Pokemon? like why do we have to kill them all? Isn't Fredrick the one you're after?" Then Jessie answered before Denny could. "Well Yeah, Plus he wants to end all shiny Pokemon! Which is most of Fredrick's group right now, you idiot!" She hissed then Charlie went quiet. "Oh, right I forgot." his attitude was making Denny feel a little concerned.
'He's acting a bit like Shawn used to. He doesn't seem to be on board with anything I suggest... He better not betray me as Shawn did. Denny looked at him feeling suspicious. "Charlie, you are on my side, right? We've been through a lot together.." Charlie looked shocked. "Oh, of course, I'm on your side! You don't think I would turn on you, do you? I would never do that!" He said. Then Zeta eyed him. "Right well, I'm watching you Jolteon!" Then Charlie looked uncomfortable.
