Imagine #2-Epilogue-Matt's P.O.V. (Part 3, Final)

Matt's P.O.V.

I left the room and closed my eyes to breath. Vanessa had just asked me to her boyfriend. Of course, I wanted to. I wanted to cuddle with her every night, to tease around without it being rude, and I could call her mine. That's what I looked forward to the most. I inhaled sharply and walked towards Carter's room first.

I knocked and walked in. He took off his headphones and said "What's up man?" He fixed his pillow and I started talking. "Vanessa kinda asked me to be her boyfriend. I want to but I thought I should get some other opinions on it."

Carter smirked and said "No trial, straight to dating! You'll be getting banged by next week." I honestly didn't like that at all.

I kinda smiled but replied "Bro, I really like her. This is extremely serious to me. I don't want to rush into it and she founds out it's not what she wanted and I'm just nervous about hurting her."

I was so worried about something going wrong. When I had my chance I didn't want to lose her. Carter looked at me and quietly said "I think you should go for it. You clearly care about her a lot and obviously she likes you too."

Then I went over to Hayes's room and knocked. His girlfriend was over but luckily both of them were fully dressed. "Matt, what's up?" He said before letting me in. I said hello to Stephanie and I started "So I was taking a shower and I walked out. She just full on kissed me and after she kinda asked me to be her boyfriend. I just want to know if you guys overall think it could work." I knew even without saying her name at least Hayes would know.

Stephanie said "Is that the girl that's been staying here?"

I smiled and replied "Yea, her friends went away so she's here for a bit."

Stephanie stated "Go for it, I see the way she looks at you, how see smiles around you and how her laugh is a lot more excited. I know I've seen you for like an hour but I think if you didn't at least try, that's the stupidest choice ever."

Hayes agreed and I walked out. I went over to the Jacks who were sitting on the deck near the pool. They turned their heads towards me and Jack Gilinsky said "How's Vanessa?" He smirked and I replied "Speaking of her, I need some advice."

They smiled and simultaneously said "We're all ears."

I sighed and started off "Well, Vanessa kinda abruptly asked me to be her boyfriend. I really thought I should get advice from all of you."

Immediately Jack Gilinsky jumped up and said "YESSS, hand over the thirty bucks Jack."

Jack J. handed over the money and I was extremely confused. "What the hell did you guys bet on?" I said while looking at Jack G. right in the eyes.

"Well today, Vanessa walked over to your room and I bet one of you would admit feelings or ask the other one out. JJ on the other hand didn't agree and thought both of you would be shy as usual about the obvious feelings you have for each other. Clearly I won though. That girl has some guts." He said before sitting back down.

I was extremely pissed but by their faces I'm pretty sure I had the answer. I walked back into the house. Nash and Cameron were on the couch. I went over and they were way too excited for me. They clearly agreed with me and I smiled at how happy they had been.

I texted Jacob and he was even for it. He had met her a few times and I guess it made sense. Us. It was nice to think that me and Vanessa made sense. I obviously felt that way but other people agreeing made me giddy.

I saw Shawn and he was playing one of my favorite songs. He was sitting on the patio which had a nice view. I was listening to the song end and he smiled at me. "So Matt, are you happy Vanessa is staying with us?" I smiled at Shawn and quietly said "I am so happy for her to be here but I have to ask you something."
