Imagine #55- Winter Wonderland

Savannah's P.O.V.

I was holding hands with Matt walking around New York City. He had come home for the holidays and together we flew up here to spend a few days.

Matt and I spent the day walking around Central Park and went ice skating in Rockefeller Center. I stood staring at that beautiful tree for a good ten minutes before we did any skating.

Now it was around 8 and we were walking in Times Square and we on the way back to our hotel the Plaza.

We were halfway back and Matt covered my eyes.

"Matt what are you doing?"

"Just trust me and take a step up and sit."

Matt guided me and I sat down. I was feeling pretty nervous about this whole thing.

He got in and still had one hand over my eyes. He was talking so loudly and finally said I could open my eyes.

When I did Matt and I were snuggled close in a horse drawn carriage. It was so beautiful and the carriage was taking us around the city a bit and then back to the Plaza.

I was in awe and just staring at the sky and everything around us.

Matt was playing with my hair saying how it was the most beautiful brown he had ever seen. He went on about how my brown eyes were better than anyone else. I smiled at him and kissed his cheek.

How did I get stuck with such a sweet and loving boyfriend, whose also extremely attractive? I was so lucky to have Matt by my side.

Matt turned my chin towards him and kissed me.

I smiled in between kisses and went back to laying on his chest with his arm around me.

It started snowing. I was so happy, it was snowing! The snowflakes fell into my hair and all over our coats.

It was absolutely amazing. NYC had turned into a winter wonderland.

In about ten minutes we got back to the hotel and Matt payed the driver. The doorman held open the door and for a few seconds I looked back at the Beauty of everything.

Matt grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. The two of us spent the night watching Christmas movies and drinking the best hot chocolate.
