Imagine #7-Birthday Imagine for Matt

(Y/N)'S P.O.V.

He was the hottest boy in school. Matthew Espinosa sat in front of me in most of my classes by luck. We would have small conversations here and there but nothing greater. I would always pass notes to him and he would usually wink and smirk back to another girl in the class. I knew I was no competition but that certainly did not stop me from having a crush on him. I watched him walk out of the classroom and go talk to Nash and Carter. I went over to my locker and heard a familiar voice say "(Y/N)?"

Matthew's P.O.V.

It was my birthday tonight and I was having a huge party. I wanted to invite (Y/N) cause I had heard she's a little into me and I wanted to get to know her better. She always passes me notes from these girls who no offense are a little too promiscuous for my taste. We had been in school together for awhile and tonight might be the perfect night to see if we could get along or click. Class had ended and she was at her locker. For some reason I was nervous even though I was pretty sure she would at least want to come. I walked over with an invitation in hand and said "(Y/N)?"

She turned around and smiled "Hey Matthew what's up?"

"I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go to my party tonight? the invitation has all the info you might need."

She replied and looked down while slightly tapping her foot "Uh... I don't think I have any other plans, so I'm pretty sure I can come!"

"Alright well I hope to see you there (Y/N)." I calmly said while walking back over to Nash and Carter.

The rest of school was just as stupid as usual so I went home and got changed. I wore a plaid button down with some khaki shorts and did my hair. I know it was my party but I felt it might be nice to dress up a little for it. All the guys ( Carter, Jack and Jack, Taylor, Aaron, Hayes, etc.) came over with the food and drinks I told them to buy but also to set- up a little.

People started coming in later and after awhile I still hadn't seen (Y/N), Nash told me to chill but this was a great chance to talk to her without being creepy and awkwardly inviting her over.

The door rang and I opened it up to see (Y/N).

I said hi and gestured her in. She looked stunning. Her green eyes stood out against the purple summer dress she wore with some converses.

Her hair was straightened but had a flower pin pushing part of it back.

She walked besides me and I said "Wow (Y/N) you look really good."

I slightly rolled my tongue over my lips and she turned pretty pink.

She looked at me in the eyes timidly and said "Thank you Matthew, you look handsome yourself."

I chuckled and said "Call me Matt." My friend called my name so I looked back over at (Y/N) and said "Stay right here, I need to talk to a friend for one sec." She nodded her head and I winked.

I walked over to Aaron and said "What's up?"

"Not much man, Happy Birthday! Who's that cutie over there?" Aaron peered his head around the corner and looked back at me.

"Oh, that's (Y/N). Ya she's a girl in a bunch of my classes. I heard some good things about her so I wanted to get to know her a bit better." I said to his question.

"Well Matt, I will leave you to her, go get it!" Aaron practically yelled and pushed me towards her.

I walked back over and she was texting someone. She put it back into her bag and looked up. She was a little stunned when she saw me, I guess she wasn't expecting it.
