You didn't bother to glance around the familiar coffee shop in which you sat. You didn't need to, after all. You frequented it daily, mainly using it in order to work somewhere quiet and peaceful. You knew the staff well and they rather enjoyed your company.

You would always leave a gracious tip for the staff, because of this they had come to know you by first name. When you walked through the door you would be greeted by a staff member while another would quickly start to work on your drink. As ridiculous as it sounded, the coffee shop was like a second home to you.

You looked down at the laptop, which had multiple documents open on the screen. Some were old documents, some were new. All belonged to your father though. The man was a rather... cautious kind of person. He didn't like anyone seeing his personal records, so when he asked you to conduct his accounting, you didn't object.

You had never been trained in the subject, but your fathers' oldest friend, Makota, had offered to train you as he had a degree in the subject. You picked up the work rather easily. This lead to your father soon appointing you his trusty accountant, a route you never thought you would go down.

But you would do all the accounting in the coffee shop you were sat in because, while it could get busy, the staff were lovely and there was never any trouble in the shop.

"More coffee, Miss?" a voice questioned. You tore your eyes from the screen to look at the person stood above you. You froze slightly under the gaze of the golden coloured eyes that stared down at you. They were watching you like a hawk would its pray and it made you rather... uncomfortable, yet curious at the same time.

"Oh, please, yes. Thank you," you answered, turning your attention back to the laptop in front of you. You resumed your typing. The man who poured your coffee seemed to be taking an antagonisingly long time to pour it.

"Are you new here?" you asked, never removing your eyes from the screen, you didn't want to look at those eyes again. Silence floated around the air once more. Due to the silence you realised that the coffee shop had gone unusually quiet.

"Ah, I am yes, ma'am. The other employees speak very highly of you for a customer though. They said your name is... (L/N), right?" the man questioned you. You removed your (E/C) eyes from the screen to look over to the golden eyed man. He offered a gentle smile, but you couldn't help notice something completely off about the look.

"Yeah... the staff call me (Y/N) though," you explained to the man who simply nodded his and was quickly called away by another customer. You didn't even get the chance to catch his name.

You continued to do your work while sipping the coffee the man had poured until you found yourself feeling rather drowsy. You yawned and closed the laptop after saving the things you were working on and packed everything away.

As you went to stand, grabbing your phone to call for someone to pick you up in the process, you felt your body suddenly grow weak. You dropped your phone and placed a hand on the table to try and stop yourself falling over, which only resulted in the table toppling over with you.
