You wandered around the grounds of Cross Academy. A small smile graced your (S/K) lips as you held your hands out for balance. Walking on the railings was always fun, high but fun. You swayed slightly as the wind blew, ruffling your (H/L) (H/C) hair.

You looked up, your (E/C) staring at the setting sun. It was turning the sky a beautiful orange colour. You couldn't wait until it was night, even though you weren't allowed out of your room. No one knew why.

People would joke in the Sun Dorm, saying that the Night Class were demons or vampires because of their beauty and how they only took classes at night and slept all throughout the day.

You would always laugh at the thought, scoffing and brushing the comments off to the side. Did you believe in vampires? Well, yeah, all legends have to start somewhere. If not, then the person who made up Dracula was really sick in the head.

You jumped from the railing, landing on your feet gracefully and turned. You leaned over the railing, watching the sun set.

"You should get inside (L/N), a voice spoke behind you. You turned your head slightly and smiled. Kiryu Zero, a perfect. You returned your attention to the setting sun and hummed slightly.

"Shouldn't you be dealing with them?" you asked as screaming started to reach your ears. You would never understand why the girls and even boys at your school would go crazy over the Night Class.

Sure, the girls in it were pretty and the boys in it were handsome, you even heard they had two models in the class, but screaming about the class like they were famous idols just seemed ridiculous.

"Yuki can handle it for now," Zero answered as he leaned on the railing next to you. The silver haired boy wasn't much of a talker, in fact, you couldn't exactly remember a time when you had spoken to the lavender eyed teen.

You looked at him from the corner of your eye and frowned slightly. It felt weird, speaking to someone for the first time even though they had been in your class for years prior. You knew, just by looking at him, that Zero was a private person, he preferred the quiet to the loud and you knew he preferred to be alone. Which was probably why you never approached him before.

"To what do I owe your company?" you asked, looking back to the sky and watched as the clouds started to mould into different shapes around the sun set. Zero didn't answer you, instead he remained quiet, something you didn't mind. Instead of trying to initiate conversation you remained quiet, leaning on your hand and watching as the sun set.

"Once the sun's set, go to your room," Zero ordered as he looked towards where Yuki was trying to hold the Day Class students, mostly female, back from entering the Moon Dorm. You rolled your eyes at Zero.

"Yes, dad," you replied sarcastically, to which he glared, shocking you slightly. "I was planning on heading to my dorm anyway. I know the school rules, been here long enough," you muttered as the clouds started to cover the sky.

Zero continued to give a small glare to you, but said nothing else on the matter. You started thinking, wondering what your parents would be doing at this moment in time, wondering if they were missing you, you were starting to feel a little homesick.

"Well, I better be off," you stated as you went to stand up straight. An open nail went unnoticed by you as you grazed your hand across it by accident. You hissed slightly at the small, sharp pain that shot through your hand.

You looked at it, realising it was bleeding and sighed slightly.

"You need to get that looked at!" Zero ordered as he turned to you, his eyes filled with worry as he looked between you and the Night Class. You gave him a confused look and placed your hand by your side.

"It's only a scratch, I can sort it tomorrow-,"

"No! It needs to be done now!" the silver haired teen ordered as he looked at you with a slightly angered expression. You couldn't help but look at him in confusion as you felt the blood run down your fingers.

Zero, realising his sudden outburst and tone of his voice, cleared his throat. He took you by your none bleeding hand and led you towards the infirmary.

"I'm fine, honest-,"

"It might lead to an infection, if we get it cleaned now that won't happen," Zero interrupted as he continued to drag you. He ignored the hunger that was starting to fill his being or the fact that his eyes were slowly starting to turn red.

Those damn blood tablets! They did nothing at all.

You sighed as you were pulled into the nurses' office and, to Zeros' demise, no one was present. The silver haired boy cursed under his breath before he pushed you onto a nearby nursing bed.

You obliged and took a seat on the bed with a small huff. Bringing your hand up you looked at it. The bleeding had slowed considerably and was already starting to scab. Looking closely though, you could make out small specks of dirt that were becoming trapped underneath.

You blinked, Zero was right, better treat the wound now rather than leave it until later or tomorrow. The silver haired boy walked over to you, in his hands were cotton balls, disinfectant and a bandage.

You held your hand out and allowed him to clean your wounded hand. As he did so Zero couldn't help but focus on the sweet scent of your blood as it filled the room. He tried pushing it to the back of his mind, but with every dab his desire to bite you became stronger.

You sat on the bed, swinging your legs, completely oblivious to the emotions stirring inside Zero. You hummed slightly as he started to wrap you hand in a bandage before he threw everything else in the bin.

You jumped to your feet and smiled, inspecting the great work the silver haired boy had done.

"Thank you, Zero. I owe you," you smiled at the boy, ignoring his shaking as you went to take a step. Zero muttered something inaudible that made you stop in your tracks. You looked at him in confusion as he turned around and walked back over to you.

You stepped away slightly, something about this made you feel uneasy. You couldn't see his eyes and his teeth were on full view but they looked like... fangs. Before you could do anything the lavender eyed boy had gripped your wrists and forced you onto the bed.

You laid there, mouth agape as Zero breathed in your scent from the crook of your neck. His tongue darted out, tasting you (S/C) skin.

"Z-Zero," you stuttered, fear filled your voice as you started to shake slightly. Zero made a 'sh' noise as he continued to lick your neck.

"Your skin tastes delicious," at that, the silver haired boy plunged his fangs into your neck and quickly began to suck. Your eyes widened in shock as you felt blood trickle down your neck.

Fear filled your eyes, but the shaking stopped. You daren't move, you were terrified, if you moved would he... would he kill you? You whimpered slightly, feeling the wound Zero had created start to sting.

"Ze... ro," you whispered, feeling yourself beginning to come light headed as you felt the silver haired boy slowly pull away from you. Zero looked down at you, eyes glowing red before they reverted back to their normal lavender colour.

He released your hands immediately, suddenly realising what he had done to you. He looked at you in shock and worry, but his body froze, he couldn't move, he didn't know what to do.

The last thing you saw before you passed out was a worried looking Zero with terrified lavender eyes.
