"Erwin!" you yelled, leaning on the blondes' desk. His eyes didn't raise from the papers he was looking at, though he heard you loud and clear. "Erwin?" you repeated, poking at the large eyebrow mans' face.

"What is it, (Y/N)?" Erwin caved, sighing and setting down the papers on his desk as he looked up at you. You grinned at him with pearly white teeth and rose back up straight.

You placed your hands on your hips, your figure suited the Survey Corps uniform perfectly, at least... in Erwins' opinion it did. You puffed your cheeks out slightly and hummed.

"Play with me!" you ordered. The blonde looked at you in shock, before furrowing his eyebrows at you. You giggled slightly, you always did love those eyebrows.

"What? (Y/N), I have work to do," Erwin replied as he looked at you. You frowned, scrunching your eyebrows together as if you were going to throw a tantrum.

"But, Erwin! At least spar with me?! Keep your skills on top?" you offered, head cocking to the side. Erwin studied you. Your (H/L) (H/C) hair hung in your face slightly as you offered him a dazzlingly cute smile.

"(Y/N)," your name fell from his lips again. He could never get enough of saying your name. It would always be (Y/N) or Squad Leader (L/N) that left his lips when he addressed you or spoke about you to other members of the Survey Corps. "I have to complete this," the blonde sighed. He knew you were just bored and, unlike the other cadets, you weren't on sparring duty or cleaning duty so... you would always hang around in his quarters.

"You're no fun," you muttered, wandering over to the blonde. You walked around his desk and slumped over slightly, throwing your arms around the mans' shoulders.

Erwin smiled gently, his large hand cupping over your small one. He looked at your face for a moment before looking back to the papers he was holding.

"You're still trying to perfect the strategy?" you questioned. You never really understand Erwins' strategy completely, but it always seemed to work.

"Of course. I can't have more people dying because of me," Erwin muttered, his hands gripping the papers tightly, almost to the point of tearing them into pieces.

You hummed gently and placed your hand on his and pushed it onto the desk in front of him before hugging him tighter. The blonde haired man frowned gently.

"Erwin, it's not your fault. None of it's your fault," you muttered, placing a gentle kiss on his temple. "Everyone joined the Survey Corps for their own reason, they all knew what they were getting into. Your job is to lead everyone to a better life, not to prevent their deaths," you whispered into his ear. Erwin frowned, he disagreed with you completely as you walked to the windows.

"Come over here, look at this," you ordered as you stood by the windows, leaning on the frame. Erwin wandered over, confused as to what could possibly be interesting out of the window. "Look at your cadets," you pointed towards the training grounds that were fully viewable under Erwins' windows.

Erwin looked outside for a moment. All he could see were cadets. They were practising hand to hand, some were cleaning, others were sparring, some were even leading the horses through the sparring grounds to let them roam around in the field.

But the one thing that caught Erwins' eye, the one thing that shocked him most is that almost everyone held a smile on their faces.

"While it may be different facing a Titan, we may feel completely petrified, but while we're here and after we've mourned the loss of our friends, we have some kind of happiness," you stated, leaning your head back on the frame, your hand reaching out to grip Erwins' large one.
