I just watched Safe Haven, and I have to say that it's seriously the most beautiful movie I've seen. Like, I loved it.

It's 1 a.m. and I feel like I have enough inspiration to write so yeah.

Hope you checked my new story, Just A Fan, bc I've had it written for a while now and finally decided to post it. I even wrote a poem. YEAH I WROTE A FRICKIN POEM GUISE EVERYONE GO AND CHECK IT OUT NOW!

''Harley, honey, will you get the plates? There's not enough of them.'' mum asked as she hurried down the lawn.

I nodded, shuffling inside. On my way back, I caught a sight of a familiar face.

''Joy! Hello!'' I cheered, grinning widely at the woman.

She smiled back, and I noticed the basket she was carrying, ''Put that right there.''

''I brought what Anne asked me to.'' she told me, watching as I started setting the plates around the long table.

Everyone should be coming today, which means the boys' families, along with mine, and Angela. I talked to her yesterday and she mentioned something about bringing James along, mostly because her mother insisted she does. Yes, Jennifer's coming as well, mum and her are childhood friends and she always calls her when we have these gatherings. It's fine, I don't mind anyway, Jennifer's better than her snobby husband.

''Oh Joy, you're here!'' mum exclaimed as she spotted the dark haired woman, going to hug her quickly before dragging her along to the back, where Michael and Luke's dad were setting the stuff for the barbecue. Calum's day was around too, I think he went to get something.

''Harley!'' a voice called and I looked up to find Michael's silver Honda parked by the gate as he honked the horn, having that stupid grin plastered across his face.

I chuckled, shaking my head as I strode towards the car.

Everyone piled out of it and I went to greet them.

When I reached Luke though, my first instinct was to kiss him and all, but I remembered our deal.

''Luke?'' I whispered as I ran a hand through his silky hair, feeling his chest rise and fall underneath me.

He hummed in response, placing a tender kiss on my bare shoulder.

''Can we um...'' I stammered, feeling sudden nervousness take over me, ''do you mind if we keep this a secret for a little bit?''

I felt his muscles tense around me and I felt guilty. Why did I even suggest it?

''Why would we do that?'' he asked, his voice hoarse as he stared down into my eyes, his brows furrowed slightly, small wrinkles forming on his forehead.

''Because, '' I spoke, ''I don't want everyone to know yet. I want us to have time to ourselves without them getting involved. Too many questions will be asked and I don't feel like dealing with them.''

I felt Luke sigh as he nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck, sending tingles through my body. He placed a sloppy kiss to my collarbone, then proceeded to leave a trail of kisses all the way to my belly. His blue orbs then shifted to me and a small smile appeared.
