Chapter 7 - Learning

Makalipas ang isang oras nakarating na silang lahat sa Cagbalete Island bandang ika-walo ng umaga at  sa Donya Choleng Camping Resort sila dinala.  Pinagcheckin na ang lahat ng empleyado sa mga kwarto doon.

Sila namang mga kabataan ay dinala sa  Camping Area.  Matapos ibaba ang kanilang mga gamit at magpaalam sa mga magulang ay  dinala naman ang mga Managers at Board Members at ang kanilang mga pamilya sa Aquazul Resort and Hotel ilang minuto ang layo sa Dona Choleng.

Naiwan na sila sa kanilang Patrol Leader na si Kuya Jake.  

Jake:  Good morning everyone. 

All: Good morning!

Jake:  You can call me Kuya Jake. For the whole day and night I will be your patrol leader and this place will be our home.  Bago tayo magsimula gusto kong magpakilala muna tayong isa-isa okay?

All:  Okay

Jake:  Mauuna na ako... ang buong pangalan ko ay Jake Macalalad, I'm 27 years old.  I am a member of the Boy Scout of the Philippines at isa akong PMA graduate under the Department of Humanities and currently under a Military Program under the Department of Naval Warfare. I love to listen to music and swim. 

Shawn:  Uy, Sir nasa Philippine Navy ka po pala.

Sabay sumaludo ito.  Natawa naman si Jake.  

Jake:  Yes, now your next introduce yourself.

Shawn:  Hi everyone.  My name is Shawn Jacob Santillan,  you can call me Shawn.  I'm 21 years old a PMA Cadet under the Department of Managerial Science.  I love to eat and play basketball.

Jake:  Schoolmate pala kita eh.

Naghighfive pa sila.  Sumunod na nagpakilala ang lalaking nasa tabi ni Shawn. 

Bryan:  Hi, I'm Bryan Fernandez, Senior High School Student of De Lasalle Univerity.  I'm 17 and I love any sport but I play basketball.

Carla:  Hello, my name is Carla Mae Gatmaitan. Junior High School  Student at Assumption School and a Cheerleader.

Terrence:  My name is Terrence Yumul,  you can call me Tere. I'm sweet sixteen, Senior High School Student of De Lasalle Alabang.  Bestfriend ko si Barbie Doll at crush kita Kuya Jake.  I thank you!

Sabay nagpose.  Nagtawanan sila, bading na bading kasi si Tere.

Dominique:  My name is Dominique Jean Suarez, 18 years old a gymnast from  Maria Montessori Foundation.  I love to sing and dance.

Stephanie:  I am Stephanie Higgins, I'm a fil-american.  16 years old studying at PAREF School Alabang.  I play volleyball

Eunice:  I am Eunice Cyrille Villar.  I am also a cheerleader at Assumption.  Schoolmates kami ni Carla.  Senior High School.

Ian:  My name is Kristian Inigo Estanislao, you can call me Ian, Senior High School Student at De Lasalle Alabang.  I'm into martial arts and basketball. I plan to be a PMA Cadet

Ice:  Ako naman si Isaiah Rodriguez, my friends calls me Ice, 17 years old. I love to play Chess and am into Martial Arts as well. Also planning to be a PMA Cadet.

Jaybee:  My name is James Sebastian Ramirez, you can call me Jaybee. born here in the Philippines but grew up in the states with my Grandfather. 17 years old. I play golf, billiards and baseball but I love to swim. I also wanted to be a soldier if life would permit me to be one.

Jake:  Bakit naman hindi?

Jaybee:  I'm a first born son, so the family business is my responsibility.
