Chapter 42 - A new journey

Hindi na nagaksaya ng oras si Mandie kinasundan na weekend ay isinama niya ang kanyang Lolo at magulang sa Muelle Beach sa ibinebentang property at ipinakilala kay.  Mr. and Mrs. Montanilla ang mayari ng nasabing private resort na ibinebenta.  Pagpasok nila sa mansyon nagsimula na ang imahinasyon ni Mandie at isa-isang sinabi ang balak niyang gawin sa lugar.

Mandie: When you enter, you will see that Vintage Chandelier of Lola Rosario in the middle of the ground floor. Tapos dito sa left side ang check-in counter. Diyan sa wall na yan will be a big portrait of Hacienda Joana. May mga couch diyan and center table for people to sit on sa isang side may coffee table where we their welcome drink, a choice between coffee, hot tea, milk tea or fruit juice habang nagche-check-in ang kanilang mga asawa and on that corner a small living room for the kids na may table at sa gilid are wooden cabinet filled with toys, board games, pens, colors, coloring books and activity book to keep them busy while they wait.

Naglagad silang papasok, itinuro ni Mandie ang dining area at kitchen.

Mandie: The dining area will serve as the lobby lounge, where we serve the free buffet breakfast. That kitchen bar will serve as the buffet table and that kitchen will be the Maine Kitchen of course.  The walls of this will be filled  with memories of our life.  Mr. & Mrs. Montinolla I also want your memories in building and living in this house included in here.  On the walls of the living room of the second floor will be your fonderst memory.

Halos naluha ang magasawa pero pilit na ngumiti. 

Mandie: Every room I will feature one of  our favorite and fondest memory. May room para sa bawat miyembro ng pamilya.  Come follow me... This mirrored  function hall will be a fine dining restaurant which will be called "Retrospect Cafe" (a place where food is a part of your fondest memory)".  I will create a roof deck as an outdoor bar where people can order wine or alcoholic drink and relax under the stars.  Tapos yang pagitan ng Main house at Restaurant I will create it as an open peebled garden na may mga couch  at beach chairs dyan sa dulo  as an extension of the bar.  Finally,  our dinner  will be served in a floating dining area with accoustic singer serenading you while you eat.

Ricardo:  I like it!  

Joax:  Impressive anak! Very good!

Maya:  I love the whole idea.

Mandie:  So what do you think Mr. & Mrs. Montanilla, is that good enough reason for you to sell your lovely place to me. If that is not enough... I assure you that wala ng idadagdag pang building or anything in this place.  It will be a simple B&B.  The last thing na naiisip kong idagdag would be a camping area  don sa dulo after our little jungle.  You would also be pleased to know I already have a name for this place.

Mrs. Montanilla:  What would you name it?

Mandie:  "La Casa Memoria" or  "The Memory House -  where memories are made, homed  and will never be forgotten."

Napangiti ang magasawang  Montanilla. Nagkatinginan na parang naguusap ang mga mata.

Mr. Montanilla:  You can consider it Sold!

Napatalon si Mandie. Niyakap ang magasawa pagkatapos ay ang kanyang magulang at Lolo.  Nang oras ding yon, nagkapirmahan na ng deed of sale at nagkabayaran.

Mr. Montanilla:  Kung mabubuksan mo ito agad Mandie, makakakuha ka ng customer agad...  May bagong ginagawang subdivision, halos 15 minutes lang ang layo dito. Magkakaron sila ng open house  sa susunod na dalawang buwan at naghahanap sila ng lugar na pwedeng pagdausan ng open house. 

Mandie:  Did you hear that Lolo, I have to start quick. OMG! I am so excited.

Mrs. Montanilla:  Mabuti pa halika na kayong mananghalian para makababa na kayo ng Maynila alam kong marami pa kayong aasikasuhin.
