53: Logicality

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong and don't try lying to me"

Recently everyone had been seeing less and less of Patton and it had started to worry everyone.

It had all started a week ago when everyone noticed how quite Patton was when they were helping Thomas through a dilemma. He assured everyone that he was fine and that he was just thinking what was the best approach from his moral side. Then he stopped baking cookies and other treats for everyone and finally he had stopped hanging with anyone unless it was absolutely necessary.

Yet no matter who asked or how many times he was asked if he was ok he would always say "I'm fine, don't worry about me kiddo."

So far everyone had asked him, all except Logan.

One morning Logan entered the living room to see Roman sat down with his head in his hands as Virgil sat next to him cuddling into himself as his whole aura screamed anxious. When Roman heard him enter his head immediately shot up before begging "Logan, you have to talk to him please. There is something wrong with Patton but he wont talk to us, Please go and talk to him. He may listen to you."

Logan let out a sigh before pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. He may not seem extremely worried on the out side but he was in turmoil as he worried about Patton. Giving Roman a short nob, Logan left the room and went to see Patton.

Upon reaching his room, Logan burst in with out knocking and sat down on the bed. Patton was shocked at first but soon asked if Logan was ok to which he replied "I'm fine, its not me that's not ok. What's wrong Patton?"

"Logan I'll tell you the same thing I told the others, I'm completely, 100% fine, I'm as dandy as candy."

"Patton I know you better then that. I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong and don't try lying to me."

The two sat there looking at each other as silence fell between them. Yet within seconds Patton's eyes brimmed with tears as they fell silently. Logan pulled Patton into a hug as he cried and opened up to how useless he felt at the moment.

All Logan could do at that moment was hold Patton close as he comforted him and told him just how important he was to everyone, how everyone missed him and his jokes and his baking. Logan continued to whisper sweet nothings and al the ways Patton was important until he had stopped sobbing.

Patton pulled away slightly only to lean in and kiss Logan. After a second Patton pulled away, leaving the feeling of his lip to linger on Logan's. Almost instantly Patton rambled about how sorry he was and how he didn't want to ruin their friendship. Logan soon leaned back in and stopped Patton's rambling by kissing him.

The kiss was wet from Patton's tears that hadn't dried yet but no the less it was perfect. When the two pulled away they both whisper "I love you" against each others lips. They burst out giggling before cuddling together for the rest of the day.
