You will make the perfect father

Castiel and Dean had been together for over the 19 years and three years ago they finally got married. They were happy together and were still as in other as they were all those years ago when they were 16. Now living in there own house that was next door to their brothers who were also a couple that were going strong with children of their own, Dean and Cas started having thoughts about having a family of their own.

Cas and Dean have been thinking of adopting for a few years now but had never actually tried. Cas knew that they would be good parents, however Dean was afraid that he would mess up.

Finally the day came around when Dean and Cas were driving to the adoption agency. All the way there Dean was shaking, he wanted to be a good father to the child that he and Cas would raise, but was too afraid that he would turn out to be like his father.

Instead of raising Dean and Sam, John abandoned them most of the time and it was up to Bobby to raise them. As they pulled into the car park, Dean sat ridged in his seat hands gripped on tightly on the steering wheel as it slowly seeped into reality that today was the day that they would be adopting. But as every what if floated in Dean's mind about all the ways he could ruin their child's life, Cas rested his hand on Dean's shoulder and turned his face so he could look at him.

Bright blue met piercing green as the two men made eye contact like they had so many times before. Cas asked "Why are you so nervous Dean, please talk to me."

"I'm just really worried that I'm going to end up like my father and ruin this kids life."

"Dean you shouldn't be so worried, I mean you raised Sam and look how he turned out, he's a successful lawyer while a family of his own, he's so smart and kind and just an amazing person and part of that is thanks to the way you raised him. Also I've seen how you interact with our niece and nephew, they adore you and you do everything to make sure they are safe and happy and I know that you will continue to do so even when they're our age. You will make the perfect father, Dean Winchester."

"As will you Castiel Winchester. Thanks for that, I really needed it. Now lets go and adopt our child." Dean said smiling at his husband as he wondered how he was lucky enough to get an angel like Cas to love him.

Dean and Cas walked into the adoption centre, hand in hand only to walk out again hours later holding their two month old twins. These twins looked as if they could of been theirs as the little girl which Dean was carrying had dark raven hair and green eyes, they named her Diana, while their baby boy who the called Orion, had sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. They were a perfect mix of them both, and when they first set their eyes on the two babies they fell in love. Now holding their children , Dean vowed to never let anyone hurt his family.

All Dean and Cas had to worry about now was the 'welcome to the family' party Gabe, Sam and Charlie had organised and invited everyone around. Hell knew that that was not going to end well.
