"I've had a rough day and honestly all I want right now is a drink and someone to cuddle with"

Days after Ultron's attack in Sokovia, Steve truly felt the fear of losing the person he loved most. The amount of times Tony had risked his life and caused Steve's heart to stop became too much for Steve.

Back at the Avengers facility, Steve walked up to Tony determined to not hide his feelings any longer. He learnt that if he didn't take a risk then he would lose his chance forever.

"Tony, I need to tell you something."

"Yeah Cap?"

"I know this may seem a little forward but I can't keep going about my day with out telling you this, I love you Tony and it kills me every time you risk your life, I wouldn't be able to cope if something happened to you. I understand if you don't feel the same but I just needed to tell you how I felt."

"Really? Steve I.. I love you too, Ive been meaning to tell you for ages but I could never work up the courage to tell you."

Since that day Steve and Tony started dating and they couldn't be happier. However as time went on they saw less and less of each other.

Tony started working more to ensure that his company was running smoothly now that J.A.R.V.I.S was no longer operational. He also became busy with meetings regarding his company and the Avengers.

While Steve was training the new Avengers like Wanda, Vision and Sam along with Natasha as well as being sent out on missions to help other and searching for Bucky.

They always tried to make plans and text but things came up and they either had to cancel or stop talking to the other.

One weekend Steve had finally gotten some time to himself which he rarely got anymore. But as much as he would of liked to spend this time relaxing, he couldnt help but wish Tony was there with him.

Flicking through films he could watch he contemplated texting Tony before deciding against it as he might be busy.

As Steve settled into the couch in a pair of sweat pants he heard the front door of the facility close before hearing a voice that he had longed to hear for so long.

"I've had a rough day and honestly all I want right now is a drink and someone to cuddle with" Tony said walking into the room, huge smile on his face, glad that they could finally spend some time together.

Steve replies with "You can't any alcohol but I can definitely help with the cuddling part." smiling bigger then he had in a while. He was over the moon that Tony was here with him.

Tony quickly went to their shared room to change into something a bit more comfy before walking back into the lounge and sitting on the couch before cuddling up against Steve.

For the rest of the weekend the two cuddled and spent time with each other as much as possible before their lives called them away from each other once again. But this time they had promised to make time for each other more as they had missed each other dearly.
