With lips closed and eyes sealed
You're sculpture with a pulse
I wanna capture your essence and keep it here forever little one
And I feel good about you not telling anyone - Emotionless, Red Sun Rising

Nikki's POV

Jenny is jumpy. She so frightened. She didn't even want to get off the bus when we reach Boston. I can't blame her I didn't really want to either. But we can't let him bring our lives to a complete stand still. I was glad that the chaste twosome had been recalled to their home office. They had decided it would cost to much to continue to follow us around. Jenny was left with a message to not cause any scandal. So last night I just brought her to my room gave her a Xanax and let her pass out. I held her close till I fell asleep myself.

This afternoon She went through with the book signing with Allen sitting next to her. Now we're in my dressing room. I'm getting ready for the show tonight. Jenny rests near me curled up in a chair her eyes closed in sleep. I didn't want to leave her when Tommy pokes his head around and tells me it's time. But we all had agreed to carry on. I've read Jenny's novel it didn't escape my notice that her book was staged in Boston. She thought the setting would catch the imagination because of the notorious Boston Strangler. There were also the Boston Belfry killer, and The Giggler which I didn't recognize. She laughed weakly and told me to look it up. Mick has been grumbling about it all day that he thought the stalker would try tonight. It hadn't helped my nerves any. Kimo and Noah will keep her safe I have to hold that thought in my head.

POV Of Stalker

It had been luck to catch Noah in the men's room. Took him out there, divide and conquer I chuckle.
I now approach Kimo Nikki's bodyguard causally. He sits beside Nikki's dressing door guarding my beloved.

"Hey dude Nikki forgot something he wants me to grab it for him." I say and smile.

"Can't let you in, but I guess I can get what ever it is for you." He says turning his back to me. "What is it?"

I take that moment to jab the needle in and press the plunger. He goes down quickly. I don't waste time I open the door. She sleeps soundly. I give her a little shot to make sure she stays asleep. I pull the trunk through the door that I had left there early. I drag her inside it and close the lid.

Whistling happily I make my way outside to the rental van. It takes some effort but I get the trunk inside. I know such a romantic place to take her tonight. It's been so long since I've touched her. I sigh heavily Such a shame she didn't come willingly.

Nikki's POV

I come off stage to see cops backstage my heart sinks to the pit of my stomach. I see Kimo sitting on the floor in tears. He looks up at me as I approach.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry." He cries.

"Who was it?" I ask trying to contain my emotions.

"It was that Cecil kid." He sobs. "He always seemed so harmless."

Noah sat in a chair being questioned by the cops. I could hear him he didn't see it coming. He felt the needle then he was out.

No one had a clue where he might have taken her and he's had her for almost two hours now. I lean against the wall and groan. I feel like I've failed her. I promised to keep her safe.

My mind keeps going over her novel trying think of anything that would help, but I'm not thinking clear. I always thought the name of the killer was cliche. Jenny laughed and told me it was supposed to be. She wanted us to remember a time when men put their best foot forward to woo a women in her parlor and on the dance floor. By giving sweet worded notes and flowers. She had just given it a fatal twist. She quipped You know a woman really never knew back then if once the ring was slipped on her finger whether she was entering marital bliss or hell. In this case it was hell.

I watch Mick approach slowly with his signed copy in his arms.

"I might have an idea where he has taken her." He says quietly to the group at large.

He has everyone's attention. We all look a him willing to grasp at any straw.

"It's the last murder in the book it takes place in Mary Cummings Park." Mick chocks out.

He knows what I know it's the most brutal murder in the book.

I hear a cop talking on his radio asking for a search of Mary Cummings Park.
