Nikki's POV

It's been a week since I'd last seen Jenny. Allen has invited us the band out to dinner. When I get there it doesn't surprise me to see Jenny at his side. It was becoming a thing. Donna on the other hand was beyond annoyed. I just told her if they were dating she'd have to get used to it. I've grown tired of having to apologize everytime Donna saw her or heard her name.

"Oh great it's Elvira no tits." Donna mumbles sarcastically as she takes her seat.

I groan embarrassed now.

"Hello Donna nice to see you. Saddly it seems the assassins have failed yet again." Jenny says and smiles sweetly.

I pretend to cough to hide my laugh. The guys don't feel that need.

"So Morticia like," Mick smirks.

After that the night goes pretty well and I couldn't help notice Allen had purposely placed himself between me and Jenny. Maybe he was starting to have feelings for her. I don't like the idea at all.

The plates have been cleared and eveyone is having an after dinner drink. Well some of us anyway. Jenny and I sit and drink ice tea.

"Excuse me Jenny I'm going to step out for a moment." He leans in and brushes his lips against hers in a gentle kiss. I watch her blush. I ball my hand in a fist trying not to show any emotion. Donna notices though and seems to be in a lot better mood now that Jenny seems to have moved on.

Kovac gets up and starts to walk outside.

"Nikki may I talk to you outside." He asks gentlemanly.

"Sure." I choke out.

I follow him outside. I really really want to punch him right now. Once we get outside he leans casually against the wall.

"Nikki do you mind if I give you some personal advice." He asks.

"And what's that." I grumble.

"I see you chasing. I see her running to escape." I try to interrupt. "Wait just listen please." He presses.
I know how you feel about her it was written all over your face a few moments ago.

I light up a cigarette to try to calm myself.

"Go on." I say quietly.

"I understand somethings.
On one side you have Jenny no fight about child support or custody. You still have a key to her house. You have an understanding that her children love and need you. So you think your set there and I guess you are. On the other side you have Donna you know she is going rake you over the coals about money. You have a child she is going hang over your head and another you won't see much anymore. So you stay married to be with them. I'm on to something here aren't I."

"Maybe." I sigh.

You didn't pay much attention to the shit storm the affair had on her life. She became Nikki's mistress, Nikki's whore, Nikki's side chick. Let's see." He pulls out his phone. "Miss Grey walks out of an interview when asked about her illicit affair with Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue. She was there to promote a new novel. There's business here to it took me to months to convince a couple old biddies to publish her children's series because of her reputation as a woman who likes married men. Which is laughable since she lives like a nun. Except for her stint in rehab which I found an excuse for she's straight and narrow. That's what they want they view all their clients as a reflection of their publishing company." He pauses.

"Are you finished?" I ask.

"Mostly." He answers.

"Spit it out Kovac." I groan.

"She deserves to be someone's wife, not someone kept on the side. I know she'll go back to you, just don't fuck up what she has going on she's worked to hard for it." He's done he leaves me standing outside kinda feeling like shit.

I finish another cigarette before I go back in. It's amazing how good of a mood Donna is in. I smile and make small talk a little while longer before coming up with an excuse to leave.

Donna is asleep but I can't to much on my mind. I didn't know all that I mean knew things were being said, but I didn't realize how she was being treated. She hides her feelings quite well when she chooses to at least for awhile. I need to get some sleep I get the kids again tomorrow. The tour is getting closer.
